Jamie and Greer are a pleasure to work with. We downsized from our large Southlands home to our new home in Kits. We had to replace/change everything as we could not fit our existing furniture. Its was a total new start in a very different space configuration. Jamie and Greer listened to our needs and preferences, then designed the entire interior including new flooring, wall colouring, furniture and even knickknacks to compliment the new design and space. I asked Oliver Simon Design for help to re-imagine my apartment as a sanctuary where I could entertain and cook for people, relax and recharge. Greer and Jamie asked me questions about what I love, how I spend my time and what I hoped for in a renovation. My ask - a sense of calm, a place a peace and a space for community. The day I walked back into my newly redesigned space I was utterly amazed. Somehow, they managed to get into my heart and figure out exactly what I needed. My home was a sanctuary of peace. I had the privilege to work with Oliver Simon Design in 2018, as we updated our home. Jamie and Greer couldn’t of done a better job designing a space that fit the overall look and budget we were looking for. I highly recommend Oliver and Simon Design and would most definitely use them again.

During the summer of 2018 my wife and I began work on an extensive home renovation on our condo in Mount Pleasant. We hired Oliver Simon Design to choose the finishes, design the interior furnishings and manage the project with a $100,000 budget from start to finish. The project had some uniquely challenging aspects to it as we had to make the space work for us, fit with our overall design inspiration but it also had to be livable and enjoyable for our 11 year old son. Greer and Jamie were able to make the whole renovation work for each member of our family and indeed to reflect the diffenrt personalities of each of us! We found the team at Oliver Simon Design to be professional, thoughtful and creative. They were so easy to talk to and really listened to us and respected our ideas. They came in on time and on budget, and they thought of things that we never would have considered. Overall we are completely satisfied with their services and would highly recommend them!

Jamie and Greer of Oliver Simon Design have worked on at least half a dozen projects for me since 2012 and I will gratefully have them work on every home I ever live in. They have taken my condo through several 'lifestyle' changes over the last eight years, going from "Zen Hippie Beach Castle in the Sky" to "Soft Industrial Moroccan Inspired Unisex Penthouse" and currently we are working on the most exciting shift yet, "Practical Bohemian Chic Updated Condo Living with an Edgy Nursery'! (My silly themes for the record). J&G's style can be conservative or modern and forward-thinking and they aren't afraid to take risks depending on the client. When they get to know their clients they learn the best way to communicate and create an efficient and fun working relationship. I trust them with the most minute details and the biggest purchases. They can be strictly budget conscious if that's what you need but if you have some flexibility in your budget you can have a lot of fun while still finding a balance that you are comfortable with. For example, you could splurge on sexy pendants but get a more practical kitchen table, or they can do custom furniture and then accessorize with the items that you already have in your home. But you should let them do their accessorizing sprees, they have an amazing eye for these things! They have their 'go-to' stores but can also source wallpaper from France or lighting from Australia if you are leaning towards the exotic. They are perfectionists who have consistently delivered on a showroom-quality home that is also extremely livable. I am one of their lucky long-term clients and always look forward to working with them.

My husband and I were building our first house and I knew I needed some help! Oliver Simon brought together my vision in such a seamless, organized way and took out so much of the stress that comes with building. I knew the style I wanted for the house and they helped execute it and made sure everything was cohesive and also challenged me to go a bit out of my comfort zone. The end result is a beautiful home that I couldn’t be more thrilled with. There is no way I could of done it without them! They have an amazing eye and are a truly talented design team. We had the pleasure of using Oliver Simon Design in our home and we absolutely love everything they did. We can’t believe the transformation and we’re so amazed by how much better our home looks. Jamie and Greer did an amazing job finishing and furnishing our home. We had nearly completed a full renovation of our character home but could not bring ourselves to complete the final steps, so we hired Jamie and Greer. They thought of everything, right down to water glasses, kid's art displays and jewelry holders. They even went to the city archives to find a picture of a place that was meaningful to our family and blew it up to make a beautiful piece of art. Greer and Jamie did a great job for us. They were fun to work with, and were quite responsive to our ideas and preferences. We contacted them prior to a move when my wife and I were having some difficulty settling on decor for the new home, and which furniture to replace/repair/reupholster, etc. We were moving into a fully restored house built over a century ago. Their careful planning balanced respect for the building's heritage, and the demands of living in a modern house. The results are a home that is very, very beautiful, but still very much a home.

Jamie and Greer were exactly what we were looking for. They truly made our house feel like a home, and seamlessly blended the most wonderful mix of eclectic and modern. We were not looking for a cookie cutter design, we wanted something that fit our neighbourhood (Railtown), and complemented our personalities. We got just that, and within our limited budget. Oliver Simon Design was recommended to us by some friends. We couldn't be happier with the results!! Initial plans to do "just the kitchen" turned into new flooring, doors, lighting and an overall fresh new look. Greer and Jamie helped us figure out what we like. My boyfriend and I purchased a condo one year ago. We love our condo but it came with some unique challenges, such as walls with weird angels and bay windows that served no purpose whatsoever. The living room was challenging but it was the bedroom that suffered the most from both of these issues. I hated it so much I stopped sleeping in it. I slept on our couch for months because the room just didn't feel right. After reading reviews of their work online we reached out to Jamie and Greer and I couldn't more happy that we did. Not only did they nail the look and feel we were going for but they worked with all of the crazy space that we had and it turned out amazing. The useless bay window in the bedroom now houses a custom desk that I can work and craft on (and it looks stunning!).....we have custom shelving that is dynamic and incorporates art and objects that we've never been able to display....the rugs and art and pillows they chose....all of it, down to the last detail was perfect. In fact they staged the home while we were on holiday so when we returned everything was done. I walked into the bedroom and when I saw what they had done I broke down. I've slept in my bedroom every night since and we are finally able to entertain friends in our cozy and fun living room. It truly feels like a home. THANK YOU JAMIE AND GREER!!!

There is an incredible pool of talent here! Our "redecoration" program involved repainting the entire penthouse, purchasing and installation of new floor coverings plus the repositioning of furniture and rehanging of a substantial collection of artwork. We hired Oliver Simon Design to help us transform the outdated, unloved deck in my boyfriend`s house into a space for living and entertaining. Jamie and Greer worked with our modest budget to create a light, airy, modern and uncluttered Great Room, using a clever mix of statement pieces and eye-catching accessories. I was especially impressed at their ability to work with other suppliers as well as their clear and sound advice concerning key decisions. An interior wall covered in ugly 1970s stucco was replaced on their word by a sleek, smooth plastered wall, painted in neutral colours that set off the décor. The interior staircase leading to the garage was removed and the floor extended over the former stairwell to create a seamless space. We would certainly recommend Oliver Simon Design to anyone looking for high-end results for their home or property development project. Our only problem is that the rest of the house is now crying out for the same attention. Jamie and Greer, expect the phone to be ringing again soon!

I was struggling to complete this project on my own and it became obvious that I was not being efficient with the use of my time and money. Jamie and Greer walked me through the process of furnishing and decorating my condo with great focus on the details. The project was managed very professionally and we had several meetings to scope the work, review the progress and make some decisions on the go and I felt that my feedback was always appreciated. Jamie and Greer have the ability to recognize the needs of the client and tie it in successfully to the client's budget while at the same time suggesting relevant ideas and furnishings. Presentations of ideas were timely and represented the client's tastes, while at the same time opening up new and fresher looks and palettes. A very professional company, able to interact with and, most of all, listen to the client. We found them to be easy to talk to, able to negotiate differing family points of view, and come up with ideas that worked. Delivery of services met expected deadlines and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble,,,,even if we did change our minds. They appear to have good contacts with trades which in turn helps the client. We are very pleased with what we have achieved so far and look forward to the final result.

Jamie Hamilton had a real challenge on her hands with my residence room. It is just over 400 square feet, in an old building built in the 70's and with a new student-tennant every year. The floor, walls and lighting were brutal individually and worse all together. The paint and fixtures and appliances are all awful. I had a tiny student budget and am only planning on being here for a few months. The space has been transformed. It looks clean and organized, there is tons of space to study, my bed is beautiful and comfortable. I have a few of my favourite things and she made some big key decisions (coat of paint, new window covering, large mirror, large carpet and great lamps) that completely altered the look and feel. I now will be living in a cozy, functional and beautiful five star hotel room while I study.

We asked Greer and Jamie if they could redesign our living room area. The outcome was beyond our expectations. They did a great job! I would not hesitate to use them again for our next project or to recommend them!

Greer and Jamie of Oliver Simon Design really saved the day when my boyfriend and I decided to redecorate our house. It turned out that my boyfriend had way more decorating opinions than I had anticipated which left us at a very uncomfortable stand still. With their help we were able to find a style that we are both super happy about and that fits our personalities perfectly Their knowledge of how to choose paint colours for different parts of our house was invaluable. I thought we'd never be able to brighten up our north-facing living room. I'm so happy with everything they've done and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

I have had the pleasure of working side by side with Oliver Simon Design on several occasions. Most recently, they transformed my 100 year old house into a bright modern stylish home. Completely in keeping the traditional style, it is now a lovely mix of the old and the new. This project included new finishes on the floors and walls, window treatments, reorganizing and revamping existing furniture in combination with new pieces, and a complete new paint schedule for the inside and out. Throughout the project they kept me up to speed on progress and budgets. They sourced and bought all the fabric and furniture using only pictures and room dimensions after gathering information about my personal tastes and budget restrictions. I hired Oliver Simon Design to come in and overhaul my home with the existing pieces I already owned. I needed and "edit & re-arrange" badly. I had seen what they had done at a friend's home and it blew me away. The ladies of O.S.D. were prompt, accurate with their estimate and an absolute pleasure to work with. When they came to my home for the estimate and to talk ideas they were able to quickly asses (in a kind manner) what needed to go -a beloved but well worn sofa - and what could benefit from a relocation or re purposing. When they came back to me with their plans for my makeover, I was astounded by how well thought out and thorough their presentation was. By using items my husband and I had collected over the years, Greer and Jaime were able to stay within my budget yet allow me bring in some new pieces to create an entirely new look and feel. With the paint and wall paper choices they made, the entire design looks brand new! My husband and I couldn't be happier!
