I contacted her in the capacity of interior decorator for one room and have now gone on to work with her on two other rooms. I know many of her projects entail remodeling and decorating. Even though I am probably one of her smallest projects, she responds in a timely manner and has the patience of a saint .. She is creative and really has an eye for balance and color. As others have noted in her reviews, she has a general contractor background so can assess a situation to determine if it is feasible or not. The work provided by her contractors is excellent. Should she provide a time line, it is adhered to. Can't say enough about Larali and her service.

We highly recommend Larali Boal and her company, Paradeisos. Larali has assisted us on three fronts: interior design/remodeling of our home, outdoor design/plant selection for our yard, and wardrobe enhancement. One of the benefits of hiring Paradeisos for your remodel is that Larali is a licensed contractor who received her degree in design; thus, she can serve as both your contractor and designer. She has knowledge of what changes are structurally possible and then can design your remodel based upon both what is possible and what will flow best to create the look and feel you want. Larali has an amazing eye for color/texture/size that insures that all fabrics/furniture/accessories/paint colors will work perfectly together. We have employed Larali from 2004 to the present (April 2017); what began as a kitchen remodel resulted in the remodel of our entire home. We couldn’t be happier…our home reflects our taste, is comfortable, livable, and receives compliments from all who visit. Larali is highly professional and the quality of her work is exemplary.

We used Larali for a major remodel to our 5 bedroom home. We had other design bids, but Larali by far offered the best and most creative use of space. From two bedrooms and a small bath, she designed a fully handicapped accessible master bath with a walk in shower without a shower door or curtain, double sinks with a large linen cabinet between, and removable lower sink cabinets (in case walkers or wheelchairs may be needed). Even the tile choice was excellent – large marble tiles on the walls and smaller hex tiles on the floor that grip well when walking with bare feet. The smaller bedroom became a walk in closet with a large upholstered bench for sitting while dressing. Windows were moved so that they were no longer over the bed. Large night stands with drawers were added under the windows. Now we have a lovely large master bedroom suite with more storage than we need. Our kitchen was also redesigned for better use of space. We moved a noisy furnace to the attic and created space for a large pantry. The custom cabinets allowed better uses of drawers and pull-out shelves to maximize space. The cabinets have an unusual rope trim that is just beautiful. The stain is a smoky color that blends beautifully with the granite counter tops. She advised us on everything from appliances to faucets, and blended the colors beautifully. We are pleased with everything. Regarding the decorating, Larali helped us pull all the common areas together with color and wood trim. This made the space look larger. We reupholstered some pieces and chose some new ones, added drapes and valances and tied the color scheme to blend with the brick and paver colors that are visible through our large sliding glass windows. Such a difference! Throughout the project she worked within our budget and helped us put our money into the pieces that will last, and we still had sufficient money left for the decorative touches that make a house a home. We were so pleased with Larali as a contractor, that when our daughter bought a fixer-upper as her first home, we asked Larali to do the redesign. We tore out the small U-shaped kitchen and added cabinets that extend along one wall into the dining/family room area. This gave exceptional countertop space that can be used to serve buffet style for parties. Mirrors were used as the backsplash, which made the area look more like a great room. Both baths were also remodeled – one with a tub for a growing family and one in the master bedroom with side by side sinks where a single sink once existed, and a walk-in shower replaced the tub. The tile styles and paint colors blend beautifully so it has a custom look throughout. Another unique feature is the laminate wood floor that was laid on an angle to make the space appear larger. Since the budget was limited, we decided on custom valences in the kitchen and living room that tied in with the tile and wall colors, but did not purchase furniture at this time. This track home is now one of a kind and everyone compliments it when they visit. This should be easy, as we have been so very happy and appreciative of Laurli and her fabulous knowledge of decorating for over 10 years now. She was recommended to us by a painting team we had employed and we have been grateful to them ever since. Laurli gets to know you and your style and then runs with it. She has helped us pick out everything from wallpaper to furnituire and we have been so happy with her choices. She is a pleasure to work with and makes life so much easier!!
