Paula is not only a Registered Interior Designer with the state of Texas, but she also has over 19 years of architectural experience. My wife and I are in the home renovation business ourselves but when we do projects on our own home, we very much appreciate the assistance of highly qualified professionals to take the burden off of us and to direct the project successfully. We have hired Paula and her staff multiple times to serve this purpose and could not be happier. Paula is AMAZING! I decided to redo my entire living room at the beginning of January 2017. I found myself stuck with so many ideas and did not know where or how to start. Paula helped to narrow my vision and to find a starting point. She has guided me as well as helped me stay focused throughout the entire process. Her vision helped my dream come true. I truly enjoy my living room now and owe her many thanks for her honest opinions, prompt responses, and diligent work.

I absolutely love my home. Paula and her team incorporated all my favorite items and created an entirely new look which reflects my personality and lifestyle. She utilized unique items from numerous sources creating a bold exciting environment. I told them I wanted a red leather sofa and it happen, and she worked around an old kitty to select carpet that can withstand accidents. She magnified the beautiful view over the Austin Hill Country. Love her sense of textures, colors, shapes and designs.

After my wife died, I got rid of everything and planned to move into a new place. I had no idea how I would handle making the choices on what needed to be included, much less figuring out how to find it, have it shipped or where to place it when it got there. I got in touch with Paula Ables Interiors, and discussed it with Paula Ables, herself. Oh, man. I came away from that discussion feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I'm not sure what I expected, but she took over and did an amazing job. I didn't see the place until I moved in, because I was so swamped with other things. I, literally, didn't have to add anything. Everything I needed to live my life was there, from furniture to dishes, art, clocks, even stoppers for wine. From sheets and pillowcases, to patio furniture, it allowed me to just pick up my life. Thank you Paula. You're a blessing.

We hired Paula in August 2016 to furnish and decorate our great room, master bedroom and bathroom and make some small changes in our kitchen. We are happy with her work and the rooms that are done look good, but our biggest issue was the timeline. We are now a year into the project and our project is still not 100% complete. We finally told her that we are putting an end to the job, because we are starting to feel like we are just their gravy train. The bi-weekly invoices for work came at astounding prices for the amount of progress that we were not seeing. We had to stay on top of her constantly to follow through on things and even then, sometimes we just gave up. Would love to be able to give here a better review, but in all fairness, we paid tens of thousands of dollars just for her services for an incomplete project and because of that, I can't, in all fairness recommend her.

We engaged Paula to redesign our outdated kitchen and knock out the wall between the dining room. We had a very pleasant experience. Paula is the ultimate professional and really works to understand her client's needs. We utilized Houzz to communicate what we like and the experience was great. The contractor we used commented that the plans are some of the best they have seen. Hailey was very helpful and responsive to my needs as well. I would definitely recommend Paula and her team for any job.

Our house was a new build on Lake Austin. We were living in Alaska throughout the construction process. The scope and details needed to make our place truly special were enormous. Paula and her crew did it! Everything from lighting to door knobs to furniture and much more had to be coordinated. Our house is beautiful, unique, and a true tribute to the entire team.

Paula and I worked together on a remodel project that had a very tight budget. The clients wanted to add a complete new master suite addition along with rebuilding the kitchen, and breakfast area. Paula developed floor plans and interior elevations which were well received by the client and fit within their budget. Paula has a great ability to listen to the client's needs and had a great respect for the budget.
