We have worked with Eileen from the inception of our beautiful home build at 40 Castle Hill Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island until the day of completion and even one year hence the project, we are still working with Eileen on any particular further details in the house. Eileen is an artist. She is absolutely meticulous in her judgements as it relates to beautiful fabrics, decor, furniture, design , textiles , etc she really took the time to get to know my husband and I up front so that she could understand a bit more about our style and expectations. We worked together in a collaborated manner for over two years on our home project in Newport, Rhode Island, which was an absolute delight. She also was absolutely instrumental in working with our architect and our builder in respect of certain design elements and dimensions as it related to floor plan, coiffured ceilings, staircases, fireplaces , flooring , mantels, patio layout , And other detail details relating to built-ins , stone and art. Her design skills are just beautiful and outstanding. And she was wonderful in the choosing of our paint colours which took quite a bit of time and sampling and testing and she was very patient with me. Eileen also worked on all bedding and decor items in the house and when presented to us we were completely overwhelmed with joy. So aesthetically beautiful ! Her responsiveness as well on many inquiries, which at times were multiple and on a daily basis were just excellent and timely and she is very caring of her client relationships and is always available at a moments notice. Building a home is complex however we viewed this as a journey and working with Eileen during planning and all phases was critical to get her engaged from the beginning. I’m delighted to say that our experience was seamless and a joyful journey, particularly as it related to the interactions that we had to have with the builders and the architect and I included Eileen in every step of the way. Many times her judgements on various complex items were more accurate and we implemented them even compared to the architect and the builder. I should also note that we are from Toronto so although a lot of this was done on site, much of it was also done virtually and that worked extremely well with Eileen. I would never build another house or pursue a project without her!

We have had a wonderful experience working with Eileen Marcuvitz, Plum Interiors. She helped me transform my Naples FL family room, dining room and kitchen into new gorgeous and comfortable living spaces. She listened to us and quickly understood our desire to bring the water and blue sky into our new home without looking too predictably beachy and kitsch. We loved her ideas right from the beginning and very quickly my husband felt comfortable enough to step back and completely trust her recommendations which is no small feat! She very tastefully chose finishes, fabrics, furniture, lighting and art that had an elegance and wow factor that I could never have achieved without her. She was organized and stayed on top of everything for us. An all-round lovely experience! We would definitely work with her again.

Eileen Marcuvitz has been actively involved in the design and redisgn of our 3 homes. She has worked with us in such diverse locales as New England, Florida and Europe. Eileen has exquisite taste in coloring and material. Her ability to change styles has been proven repeatedly. She has worked with different budgets and been successful in the completions of each. In addition, Eileen is wonderful to work with and very flexible. We would strongly recommend her to any decorating project

Plum Interiors helped redecorate several key rooms in our house. Eileen and her team listened to our opinions and respected our input. They worked within the confines we gave them (what should stay, what could go) and helped give life to formerly dull areas of the house. With Eileen's work, there is always a sense of calm, even in the very fun playroom and child's bedroom she created. I wanted that mix of style and serenity, and that was definitely delivered. Now Plum is helping us with our second house, and they continue to be a pleasure to work with. They always have innovative ideas, but never push the client beyond what they feel comfortable with. They want what is right for the client.

Eileen worked on virtually every aspect of our new home. She collaborated with the architect, builder, contractor and myself tirelessly throughout the entire process she was able to seamlessly incorporate my ideas and personality into her own impeccable style and attention to detail. The outcome is a beautiful, comfortable living space that is perfect for our family. We couldn't be happier with the process or the result of working with Plum Interior Design!

Our project is still in progress but the results thus far have been good. . I knew when we chose Plum Interiors that their reputation for great style And elegance was exactly what we were looking for they have not disappointed us yet!
