This was our first big renovation project at our home. Tess and her crew were awesome. We had our master bathroom updated and reconfigured. It went from annoyingly serving its purpose to making me feel like I’m at a 5 star resort. We pretty much let Tess pick everything. She has incredible taste and knew what would look best in our space. I absolutely love our bathroom. There were a few hiccups in the project but Tess is dedicated to resolving issues and having happy clients. We are HAPPY CLIENTS Tess!! Thank you ❤️

The exterior of our home needed an update and we were struggling to come up with a color palette that we liked and that was suitable for our house. We asked Tess at Posh Places for help and she designed an exterior plan that was perfect; one that we would never have thought of on our own. Tess is extremely talented - she has an eye for the elements of design, such as color and balance. We trust her knowledge and expertise and appreciate her understanding of building construction. Tess transformed our home’s exterior, and now it looks like a new house!

Started a new construction home in the midst of a pandemic. It quickly became apparent that accessing resources and making timely decisions was a challenge. Posh Places design center is 10 minutes away—the day I walked in the door I felt at home. The furnishings immediately appealed to my sense of style. Designer Tonya warmly welcomed me and explained the services available. I was drawn in and excited by what I saw—the design center had everything in one place! Posh Places owner, Tess Etzler, is a true design professional. I knew I had made the right choice when she facilitated a walk-through of our new home with the electrical contractor. Her expertise and knowledge was wildly apparent. I was hooked! Tess has become a valuable partner in the design and decor of our new home. She understands my (and my husband’s) style, respects our budget, pushes us to distinctive choices, and provides a resource center for one-stop ease. I can’t believe our good fortune having the services of Tess and her staff so close to home. Our new home will truly be a “Posh Place”!

I hired this company to convert my crawl space into new basement space. Things went smoothly for the first few weeks, then one day when the lead contractor sent me an extremely presumptuous and inflammatory text concerning the security cameras we have in our home. He accused me of recording his men working, which is not only untrue but can be substantiated by the log files. He further accused me of violating our "cash deal", which is also inaccurate. We agreed to weekly check payments (not cash) and my bank statements clearly show that I honored that agreement to the letter. There was no call for him to speak to me, or any client, the way he did. Therefore I cannot recommend this professional. Had he apologized, or even attempted to resolve the issue rationally, I would not be writing this review. Unfortunately he did neither and I was forced to terminate their services.

I have worked with Posh Places on two separate occasions. First in 2003 on a custom home I was constructing and then just this past year after I sold that home and downsized into an old farmhouse I renovated. Her attention to detail is amazing. She had the ability to see my vision, implement it, and make it even better! I relied on Tess from start to finish, from project design drawings, to selecting windows, cabinets, paint colors, flooring, light fixtures and then interior decor such as furniture, window treatments, and decor. Tess always got back to me in a timely manner and kept my project moving when it began to lag. I know without a doubt that both of my projects would absolutely would not have turned out the way they did without Tess' expertise and talent.

Tess and her crew did an incredible job on our whole house remodel! They carry a large variety of products. Some examples are lighting, tile, hardware, cabinetry, carpet, art and accessories. The installer do an excellent job. A special shot out to Bobby. He created a work of art in my master bath with the tile.

I now have my dream kitchen!! Tess was able to combine both timeless beauty and function. The entire first floor flows perfectly. Tess was very easy to work with. I found Tess at Posh Places on Houzz and selected her over others in my area because the photos of her work showed many different styles. Other designers photos were all the same style, no matter what the project was. I am very happy with Tess and plan to use her services again. I decided to use a designer because my husband and I had different ideas for our fireplace wall in the house we are building. Tess came to our home, listened to what we wanted, considered the style and feel we were looking for and came up with an amazing design in a very short time. Tess gave us a drawing complete with a materials and price list. I never felt that I had to use any or all or her materials and we did end up finding the materials and completing the project ourselves. I plan to call Tess soon after we move in to help with window treatments

Normally, you choose a interior designer to make your house a warm, and inviting home. Not only did Posh Places do this, they transformed my house into a fabulous show place that is not just "trendy" but will last generations in the richness of the design and details. I hired Posh places from the absolute beginning in restructuring the exterior architecture and also followed through (gutting almost every room) with the complete interior re-design process. She is not only INCREDIBLY talented in architecture, understanding the historical period designs, as well as "colors, textures and fabrics", she is wonderfully sweet and genuine to work with. Her design team is hand-picked and also a professional joy to work with.

My husband and I were ready for a change with our living space, but we weren't sure what we wanted. After a conversation with Tess, in which I showed her a few unrelated pictures of what we liked,Tess captured the essence of what we wanted. Her design included new flooring and woodwork thorough out the home as well as new crown molding, and window treatments. Tess tied it all together with the introduction of a new color palette, furniture and lighting. Her construction team approached the job in a courteous, professional manner and demonstrated excellent craftsmanship in their work. We are so happy with the way everything looks and feels. We would recommend Tess and her Posh Places team to anyone.
