Roberta was our interior designer for a huge renovation project on our lake house and we are thrilled with the results! She helped us take our 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath from a 90s lake house to a beautiful rustic modern with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. From room layouts, to paint colors, to appliance and furniture choices, she was invaluable in helping us pull everything together. She was extremely professional, and knowledgeable, and gave us great direction while accommodating our tastes. I can’t recommend her highly enough. We are just thrilled with our new home and could not have done it without her!

Roberta is a top notch Interior Designor. Very personalable, reliable and has exquisite taste. We started out with a bathroom renovation and are now in the process of remodeling the entire house inside/out. Pictures to come at a later date. Check her out you won’t be disappointed!!

Roberta is friendly and very professional. She set up all appointments, and let us know, and went with us on all of them! She let us make decisions, but was right there with us offering ideas! Still have the backsplash to finish, which husband Stuart will do!

On remodel projects, big or small, things rarely go perfect. When those unexpected things do arise and how they are handled is when I tend to judge the quality of my experience. There were several small issues during the project that occured beyond her control. She handled each of them promptly and professionally until they were resolved. I would highly recommend R. A Stone and use her services again without hesitation.

Our house badly needed updating because it hadn't been redecorated in many years. We asked Roberta to help us due to her sense of design and knowledge of the marketplace. We started with the floors. Roberta found some hardwood laminate flooring that we liked. Then she recommended installers that were both easy to work with and did absolutely flawless work. She helped us pick out new window treatments throughout the house replacing heavy conventional curtains. She suggested new lights for the bedroom, kitchen and bath, a new chandelier in the dining room and new paint colors in the bedrooms. The result is a lighter, less formal, contemporary look that we are very happy with. We are pleased with her work and would recommend her to anyone.

Roberta really listened and brought many great ideas to our kitchen remodel. She was resourceful, flexible and appropriately able to nudge us into making selections which we are very pleased with. Roberta’s patience and attention to detail really made it an enjoyable experience working with her.

Roberta did such a wonderful job completely remodeling our kitchen and updating our dining room and living room. The kitchen is beyond what we had imaged. Beautiful and so functional too. Our cabinets are gorgeous. Roberta really listens to what your likes and dislikes are. All the contractors she used were very nice to work with and did excellent work as well. We would hire her again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend her.

Roberta designed a remodel of our kitchen, two bathrooms and our dining room. She supervised the project while we were gone for four months. She helped me pick out appliances, brought samples to help me decide colors and finishes. She helped keep to our budget. She listened to what we wanted and kept to the Arts and Crafts style of our house. While we were away for the winter she sent pictures and kept us up to date on the project. We are so happy with her work and will certainly call her again.

Roberta was very helpful in the remodeling of my bathroom. She gave me ideas and choices that I would have not come up with on my own. She saved me time and money. She helped me to come up with a design that went with a vanity I wanted to keep in the space. She found the right bathtub, toilet, fan, fixtures, tile, flooring, and color. She also worked well with my contractor. I really love the way it turned out.

Roberta installed blinds at the windows in my master bedroom. She also installed two valences and a set of draperies at those windows. In my guest bedroom, she found new tiebacks for the curtains at the window and changed the bottom of the blind. She took the time to make sure everything was just right. Great!

I wanted a blind that would allow light to come in but people not to be able to see through it. It was a large window. Roberta came over took measurements and listened to my wants and needs. Once the blind arrived she installed it and showed me how to work and detach it if there were ever a need to do so. It is perfect!!

Roberta is excellent at finding a color, helping determine which counter top fits the need, which blind is best for the space and especially a joy to be around. She is a great resource for Cambria Quartz. Very price competitive and knowledgeable. Her knowledge on remodel and design is hard to find without paying high prices.

Roberta Stone did an outstanding job on my recent kitchen and floor remodeling project! She was so easy to work with and chose wonderful professionals to complete the work. I wouldn't choose anyone else to help me with any future home projects.

Roberta helped create an updated, open kitchen with which I am thrilled. She helped incorporate some older elements in the design that coordinated with the new. She also diligently worked with contractors to meet my deadline.

When we really had no idea for what we wanted to do with the interior of our home Roberta was able to take a few comments and put together a design plan for us. She was very quick to provide samples and meet at our home, which made the selection process easier even when we would change our minds often. The contactor we personally selected is not finished with the project yet, but we look forward to it being completed.

Our project was recycling our old kitchen to a summer kitchen and rec room in the garage and putting in a new kitchen inside with a cottage French feel to go with our 1880 home Archetect. Roberta is very professional and creative. She has a keen eye for color and space arrangement. She brought many resources to our project. Her cupboard and drapery picks are beautiful! We are moving forward with recovering our dinning room chairs and family room couches. I really enjoy working with Roberta making our dreams come to life!

Over the past two years, Roberta Stone played a crucial role in helping us to design the look and function of our new custom home. Roberta Stone's design service was excellent. She helped us to design our dream kitchen and master bathroom with regular meetings to select materials, making us aware of materials to make our projects unique, and following through to complete the finishing details. Roberta helped me do that. We worked together on the interior of my home by choosing a paint color that would work throughout, showcasing my family's artwork for the walls, having my furniture recovered, selecting carpeting and extra living room pieces. She also helped me select new dining room furniture, bedroom furniture, blinds and accessories. She even designed a cabinet and counter top layout to turn an extra bedroom into a combination office, craft and exercise room. Roberta is a good communicator and is very hands-on with her projects. I contacted R.A. Designs for a complete re-do of my kitchen, dining room, and living room, including all new floors, cabinets, and furnishings. Our designer, Roberta completed drawings, estimates, and then would bring samples to our home when we were available for our final choices or picks. She organized the ordering and all the work to be completed. What we found to be amazing, she listened to what our expectations were and understood what we wanted for the final outcome.

We have used Roberta for over ten years. She designed office layouts and found appropriate furniture for my business office. She has done many things in my home. We usually have a project every year.
