As a real estate agent working with buyers and sellers in higher-end houses in Northern Virginia, I see a number of houses with interior design details that are elegantly done. I have read several of Nancye’s reviews and the critiques and comments capture her talents quite well. I have known her since I bought a house in 1999 and have used her in two other homes since then. I have had her design rooms, direct projects, buy items, and offer advice. While everyone’s taste in décor is their own, she knows what I like and provides me ideas and designs that have classic elegance whether they are traditional, transitional, or contemporary. While renovating my first house with her, I used my choice of builder on several tasks. Nancye has helped us on five different design projects, two of which were brand new builds. Her talent is amazing! She has a great sense of the customer needs, the design components and is able to work extraordinately well with the builder and architect. I hired Nancy several years ago and we have systematically been rehabbing and redesigning my house. I have found her to be very knowledgeable when it comes to structural suggestions, extremely talented as to design, colors and furniture. She acts as project manager and the people she uses for construction, painting are like her, very professional and knowledgeable. She has always been available for consultation. She listens carefully to what I want, makes helpful suggestions. I was introduced to Rabbit Runn Designs through an ASID program. I did not know Nancye when she arrived at my door but the appeal and sincerity were instantaneous. Nancye was gracious, detailed, an active listener and, in my opinion, a talented award winner.

I have worked with Nancye to decorate three homes over the past 18 years and have been nothing short of thrilled with the results. My latest home was a new build requiring many decisions to be made early in the building process. I was unaware of many things I should request during the process which was less expensive than attempting to add after the build. Nancye has extensive experience working with builders and knew all the right questions to ask and suggestions to make. Nancye’s color selections have been perfect. Many people who have come into my home have replicated the colors in their homes. I also find her ability to find just the right furniture, fabrics and accessories to be spot on. She has never recommended a piece of furniture that didn’t fit the room in scale and design. Nancye also is adept at repurposing things I already have into a new design, once again saving money. Nancye has saved me endless hours over the years by taking my design ideas and locating many options of fabric, furniture, lighting etc. from which for me to choose. As a very busy professional this has assured that my projects are not delayed because I don’t have the time to shop. Occasionally there has been a problem with a vendor. Nancye has dealt with every situation with a good end result, once again saving me time and stress. No matter how large or small my budget, Nancye has always been able to design the perfect room. She is a delight to work with and I look forward to working with her again on my next project.
