I was looking for a kitchen designer to completely remodel my kitchen and reached out to Rachel for the same. Rachel started off with a couple of initial discussions with us to understand what I was looking for and my vision for the kitchen. After a few discussions Rachel came back with multiple designs for the kitchen that she explained to us. We had some personal preferences that Rachel considered and updated the designs a few times while explaining the pros and cons of each option. She was very patient and helpful talking through our numerous questions and clarifying our doubts (this is our first time working on a house project). We had a timeline for project completion, Rachel worked with various vendors for cabinets, hardware, countertop and others to have the supplies ready that would work for our timeline. Rachel worked closely with us providing various options and helped us with the selection of cabinets, hardware, countertop, appliances, and kitchen flooring. Rachel also helped us find the contractor whose team was great. There are a few items that I was not sure but went ahead with Rachel’s advice and each one of them turned out to be great. Rachel totally redesigned the space and made it a convenient, efficient and modern kitchen. I love my kitchen and am enjoying it. Rachel is very meticulous and detail oriented while keeping the vision in mind. It has a been a great experience working with Rachel and am happy to have worked with Rachel for my project.

I recently worked with Rachel on our kitchen remodel and would recommend her to anyone looking to do the same. We left the existing perimeter cabinets (which we had painted), but updated everything else. This came with a lot of moving parts and coordination. She recommended a contractor whom she has worked with on many projects, and he was exceptional from start to finish. Her sources were all wonderful and very talented, from the cabinet painter to the floor person. She was always available for a quick text to go over anything from lighting to hardware and beyond. Going into this project the most overwhelming aspect was figuring out how to outsource and coordinate all of the people involved on this project and she took that burden away from me making the kitchen renovation as easy as possible. I reached out to Rachel to help with the main floor of our new home at . We needed help with buying furniture, window treatments and also figuring out how to maximize the space we had. We weren't sure how best to use the rooms to best suit our lifestyle. I was a little nervous reaching out to a decorator as this was my first time, but Rachel could not have been nicer. She gave great suggestions, answered all my questions, was available to meet when needed, and she was mindful of our budget and our needs. We could not be happier with the results. She had the suggestion to use one of the rooms as a bar and we even figured our a way to integrate my husband's homebrewing and added 2 beer taps - it has been perfect for entertaining! Rachel worked with us for over a year to renovate our home, which was taken down the studs and completely rebuilt. She worked with the architect on the blueprints to ensure every aspect of the design would be functional and align with our interior design needs and choices. We ended up with a much better design because of Rachel’s input. She then worked directly with the contractor to oversee the project and provided field advice along the way to the builder, plumber and electrician. Rachel not only designed our kitchen and bathrooms, but guided key decisions on the electrical layout, fireplace style, flooring and built-ins. Rachel designed a beautiful custom bar and serving area in our dining room and she designed an entertainment cabinet system for our media room. Finally, Rachel. guided all the interior design decisions, including paint colors, tiling, furniture, and window treatments. Our new home is beautiful and highly functional because of Rachel’s expertise and partnership in the rebuild. Rachel charged us by the hour and her overall fees were reasonable for the services we received. She provided us with choices, pros and cons, and worked within our budget. Two years ago, I found Rachel on Houzz and I am so glad I reached out for help. From the first call, Rachel has been with me on a two-year journey to renovate our entire home. As a busy professional, I knew I would have limited time to devote to the project and that is where Rachel excels. She put together the kitchen/bath design. She managed the contractor selection process and acted as the point of contact for contractor onsite decisions/questions. She did the legwork and walked me through the process of selecting plumbing fixtures, cabinets, flooring, tile, countertops, paint colors, and lighting so that I did not spend hours walking through showrooms and big box stores. Rachel's expertise and huge network of suppliers/vendors (e.g. closet installers, window treatments, appliances) also ensured materials were onsite and ready for installation at the right time. This was especially hard to do with a renovation project started at the height of a pandemic but somehow everything worked out fine. The main renovation is done but I will continue to rely on Rachel for design and decorating advice. She really is that good.

Rachel's vision for my kitchen layout was invaluable. I had many entries to the kitchen and had a hard time imagining how to best open up the space. It was instantly obvious to Rachel. Without her vision, I would've ended up with a less than fabulous kitchen space. Rachel is a fabulous designer with great inspiration and ideas. We bought and renovated our house remotely (from halfway around the US) and had to lean and trust Rachel immensely to be our eyes. We had some good inspiration on what we wanted the final output to look like and Rachel just took that inspiration and built upon it. The renovation was quite substantial as it involved redoing the kitchen, main living areas, all the bathrooms and some bedroom retouches. I chose Rachel based on a friend’s experience with her. I was doing a home improvement project that began with redoing a dining/family room and a bathroom, but expanded to new lighting, new flooring downstairs & redoing all hardwood floors upstairs, new stair railings among other things, and new siding, windows & doors. No doubt Rachel has an eye for stellar, design and knows the process and timing like the back of her hand. Without her guidance, I frankly don't know if we'd ever get through the start of our remodel as there are a lot of moving pieces. I believe RS Design Management is growing rapidly, and experienced very high demand during COVID. Clearly she is busy because she is highly qualified and sought-after. I believe RS Design can deliver even better service and attention by scaling the business adding additional project management staff. Ultimately, every project has its ups and downs but the kitchen turned out beautifully.

Rachel is a fantastic designer/project manager who understands her clients and was such a pleasure to work with. She helped us streamline the project by coordinating with various contractors and vendors while keeping us updated throughout the process. I hired Rachel at the recommendation of a good friend. Not only was I thrilled with her kitchen and bathroom design skills, Rachel also helped me procure an architect and a contractor. Rachel is the best, and I would highly recommend her to anyone considering any sort of home renovation project. Many people think of a designer as coming in at the end to help with finishing touches and decorating, but Rachel is truly a project manager and should be consulted with before beginning any home project. We used her for our master and kids bathroom projects which were more involved than just a simple remodel, and everything came out better than we could have ever imagined. I only wish we knew her when we renovated our first floor a few years ago, but we will most certainly use her again for when it is time to finish off the basement. Rachel will help you with the design/layout, architect (if needed), creating a budget, putting an RFP out to contractors, ordering materials and furnishings, and helping with any and every single aspect along the way. She is also very fast to respond, and extremely helpful in guiding you on where to splurge and where to cut costs. Rachel is worth every penny and more, as she will save you tons in the end by completing a job the way you want it the first time around and taking a lot of the stressful aspects off of the homeowners plate.

My husband and I cannot say enough about the help and guidance Rachel provided to us throughout our construction and continues to provide to us. Rachel has so much positive energy, patience and so many great ideas. Her input was invaluable from reviewing our architectural drawings to details as small as door handles. Our project was basically new construction and Rachel was great at narrowing down choices for us on everything we needed help with. She is extremely sensitive to budget. We hired Rachel to help us with our newly renovated home, we were in need of a professional interior designer. She was able to transform our vague ideas into a beautiful design while staying within our budget. Rachel's design sense, firm (but effective) project-management expertise and incredible attention to detail were invaluable as we undertook a major renovation on a tight timeline -- all in the midst of preparing for a cross-country move. We purchased a home and wanted to accomplish the seemingly impossible goal of extensively renovating the interior and having it move-in ready within 7 weeks of closing. Rachel established an aggressive timeline, helped us navigate difficult design choices (driven by some unique requirements) and partnered with our various vendors/contractors -- resulting in the perfect home for our lifestyle. Our project included removal of three walls, re-doing floors throughout the house (hardwood, tile with radiant heat installed and carpet), custom painting the entire interior, re-finishing the kitchen with white cabinets, a brand new island, new hood, countertops and backsplash, custom designed pantry and mudroom, unique fireplaces and a new laundry. Rachel thought of everything (even down to scheduling post-construction cleaning) and managed to keep everything (including our decision-making) on-track even when we were out of town -- her detail-oriented, results-driven approach made the entire project possible and gave us the confidence to accomplish so much more than we could have imagined in seven short weeks. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciated Rachel's design input and management of our project, other than to say that we are now working with Rachel on phases 2 and 3 (new outdoor deck/patio and finishing the basement). We would absolutely recommend Rachel to manage and provide design advice on any project large or small -- we could not have done it without her!

Working with Rachel was terrific on all fronts. As important as her knowledge and taste in regards to our renovation project, it was her steady, calm and diligence that got us through the process with the least amount of stress. She was our advocate. If she wasn't taking action on our behalf, she would provide counsel about various issues and empower us to, for example, go to our contractor and say, 'this needs to be corrected.' Also important, she doesn't push her taste on to what you want to do. She guided us through with what we wanted to do. If my wife had an idea that I wasn't sure about, she found a way to make me comfortable with the choice. The end result was a kitchen that we are both thrilled with in every way.

Rachel is a wonderful designer! She coordinated all aspects of my kitchen renovation and without her, I would never have made any progress on this project. She was organized, professional, responsive, and creative in all of our interactions. Rachel has wonderful design taste and leanings and still, she was always supportive of my preferences, as well as honest about what would work in my space and what might not. My NYC galley kitchen renovation was challenging due to the small, limited space. But Rachel designed an elegant and clean-looking kitchen that is not only very functional, but also very beautiful. From the start of my project Rachel made me feel extremely comfortable and always remained very professional. Rachel managed all aspects of our office renovations. We are a busy pediatric office. She did everything! She initially came in to see what the current office looked like, recommended offices for us to look at, and then sat down with us to discuss what we did like and did not like. She observed the office/patient flow and made recommendations and well needed changes. She then presented a plan that we approved and took over everything from there. We gave her the freedom of color and design selection. Rachel's knowledge base and experience in this field was immediately evident. She hired contractors and managed the contractors that we and the building owner wanted to use. She was able to coordinate construction of all types while we were able to continue to see patients in the office. She was able to deal with three very different opinionated partners of the practice and many different employee opinions. She managed to remain within the budget she was given. We love the new look and have received high compliments from patient's parents. Some have walked into the office and then walked out, thinking they had entered the wrong office!
