I loved working with Janette. She designed two of the most beautiful adjacent custom wood built-ins for my family room. They really set the tone after my home renovation and the built-in's are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. She really listened and gave me so many unique ideas. I love how Janette not only focused on how I was going to use these built-ins but also made sure to focus on unique lighting features, texture and my existing color palette. My favorite feature of my built-ins are the floating shelves that are back lit. We turn these lights on every night when we're watching TV in the family room. These are the sexiest built-ins I've ever seen! Can't wait to work with Janette again.

We had a whole house remodel due to a flood. We hired a construction firm that had an in house "designer." We soon discovered that was a misnomer. I reached out to Janette and she saved the day! She stepped in and helped me plan the remodel. She has an uncanny ability with color and her taste is superb. However, the best thing about Janette is that she is so fun to work with! I'm a wanna be designer and her patience with all my questions was so appreciated. If you have the opportunity to work with Janette don't hesitate - take it!

I met Janette a number of years ago when she helped our daughter with her family’s remodel. She was efficient, knowledgeable and listened to what the family’s wants and needs were. When we purchased our condo in San Diego it essentially had to be gutted and remodeled so we hired Janette to help. She is innovative, focused and has great taste. She found us storage space where there was none and reined us in when we threatened to go overboard! My home and my daughter’s reflect our needs and taste and are quite different from each other. In my opinion this is the hallmark of a good designer! On top of all these important qualities she is really a nice person and fun to be with!

I’m so glad I found Janette through Houzz. She is the best!!! I will definitely ask her for help in the future if I have more renovation projects. I’m new to San Diego so I didn’t have any referrals from the area and just came on houzz and found someone I think would fit my project needs. Janette is so easy to work with. She responds very fast and is on top of everything. We remodeled the kitchen and two bathrooms with her. She helped me from the beginning with drawings all the way to picking fabric for window treatments. She’s very understanding, has great taste, and worked with my budget. I could tell everyone enjoys working with her when all the salespeople recognize her and always say great things about her. She’s also not afraid to voice her opinion and let people know if things aren’t installed well, super important for me because I’m not very outspoken. Janette at "Reategui Design" transformed our new home into our DREAM home! We recently moved into a beautifully remodeled BIG house but once we unpacked, we didn't have a clue how to furnish it. I had an idea of the look I wanted (Mid Century Modern) but I didn't know where to start? My husband and I live in LA so we were a little hesitant to hire a designer from San Diego but she came highly recommended. Now, after working closely with Janette, I'm so happy we decided to use her services. We interviewed a few different designers that were local but didn't really connect with any of them the way we did with Janette. So, we decided to hire her! Every time we met, she was on time, professional and very easy to talk to. If it were up to just me, I would have wanted to buy all new furniture... but my husband quickly brought me back down to reality and we had to stick to a tight budget. Janette was able to use most of our existing furniture and we only had to purchase a few new pieces to really give our home that designer look. We spent one weekend looking at different furniture stores in LA so that she could get a feel of our style. Because Janette often shops in LA, I quickly realized that she has great connections and industry discounts to insure the best possible prices on furniture and décor. I LOVED THAT! She found us great quality pieces that were both unique and budget friendly. Janette was always available by phone, text, email and even Skype whenever I had a question about anything. I'm a very "hands on" type of person so I wanted to be involved in every aspect of this design process. As much as I wanted to order everything right away and be done, I also wanted to make sure I was taking my time, reading reviews and making the right decisions. Janette was respectful of that and I never once felt pressured to make a rushed decision on anything. She listened to what we wanted and really went above and beyond our expectations! When our friends and family come over, they are so impressed with our home and the décor. It's a great feeling to finally a home that fells like "ours" and it's all thanks to our amazing interior designer, Janette!
