Reflective Color & Design

Working with Diane to get our house ready to sell was awesome! I didn't have a strong vision for the space, but she did – and it was amazing. I loved her color choices, the trendy materials she picked out, and how she came up with creative ideas to make everything look modern and chic. What also stood out was her willingness to work within our budget. She loved thinking outside the box and coming up with cool alternatives to keep costs down without compromising the overall look. I was so impressed with her talent and budget-conscious approach that I immediately asked her to design our new home. It was a unique and, frankly, daunting task, as our new house was on the other coast. Despite the distance, Diane handled everything with incredible creativity, practicality, and flexibility. She skillfully adjusted to the local materials, navigating time, supplier, and provider differences with ease. A particularly remarkable aspect was her ability to perfectly balance my and my husband's tastes, helping us create a space that we both truly love and enjoy. If you are looking for an interior designer with a fantastic eye, elegant design skills, budget expertise, and who even works remotely, Diane is an ideal choice.

Diane is terrific. She has a great eye, judgement and experience and knows the best websites and stores. She uses her skill and experience to help her clients identify alternatives, understand their pros and cons and make discriminating decisions. She has saved me hours of time and helped me explore and find products I would not have found on my own, and have fun doing it. I met Diane several years ago when I was looking for a paint color for my living room. She helped me find a color I love that would not have occurred to me. I am now working with Diane on paint colors, lighting fixtures, carpeting and bathroom upgrades for 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms and it is a pleasure. I highly recommend Diane

This review is long overdue.... Diane was great! I contacted her once our addition/remodel had started and she jumped on board to assist me, which was a relief. I didn't feel comfortable choosing tiles, slabs, finishes, and colors by myself. Not only does she have a superb eye for color and design but she really helped us define the interior colors and furniture in our remodel project. We get so many compliments on our living room and kitchen and it's really because Diane pulled everything together with her keen eye for details. My advice would be to spend the extra funds and have Diane guide you through the process. She knows all the vendors in the area and will make your end project look so much better than you could imagine on our own. Thanks Diane!

Diane is everything prior rerviewers have written about her. She is incredibly creative and a whole lot of fun to work with! Her deep expertise in color and design are evident from the moment she starts work. She helped us with our guest bathroom material design and colors. Diane listened to what we had in mind, and then we went together to pick out materials. She helped us look at options and her insights were invaluable. We cannot recommend Diane more highly.

Diane is amazing! We were in the process of picking paint for the outside of our house and luckily someone recommend we go and meet with Diane and that she would be able to help us through the process. She did an initial set of colors and then followed up with a visit to our house. She provided a very detailed document with paint colors and directions on which colors go where as we have a lot of weird detail on our house. I will admit I did go and get some other samples for the front door and of course her colors were by far the best. We are so happy with all of the colors she picked and now I would like to repaint the entire interior of our house with colors that Diane would pick, not me. I have included a picture of before and after below.

My husband and I have worked with Diane in the past to help pick out colors and give us some ideas on our home. We recently had to change a color in one of our rooms because of a water leak. We loved her choice. She is great at modernizing and updating a home and still keep it's original character. Her eye for color is fabulous.

Diane has an amazing eye. Diane provided color consultation for multiple rooms and design expertise for a kitchen re-fresh. The guidance and recommendations have been spot on and she has done a fabulous job at seamlessly integrating colors and styles throughout our home. She has also been sensitive to concerns around job scope and has worked well within our parameters. Our kitchen is still a work in progress, but with Diane's input, we are confident it will look fabulous.

We hired Diane to help us with the paint selection for the kitchen/family room in a new home we had purchased. Our original selection that we had picked ourselves turned out so wrong - what I thought would be a neutral, earth tone turned out lavender on the wall! This was a huge space with a high ceiling and lots of windows, and would be our primary gathering space on a daily basis, so I really wanted to ensure we ended up with a color we liked rather than seeing something we regretted every day. Diane had a fantastic eye - immediately saw what we disliked about the original color (yellow was too bright), as well as with the original choice we had picked out (wrong undertone). With her familiarity with the Benjamin Moore colors, she picked out three possibilities that were all great. But then she refined the choices with considerations that we would not have thought of, or probably would have only realized after it was too late (after the walls were painted) - looking at the direction of the lighting, the undertones of the paint color, the contrast with the trim, the color of the furniture, etc. Long story short, we love the final color selection - it gives the room a fresh, airy feeling with a hint of color on the walls. I also love seeing how the color appears to change slightly throughout the day in different lighting, but always manages to look good! If we ever need to repaint, we will definitely be contacting Diane again!

Diane is AMAZING. She has assisted me with two projects, and I am elated with the end results. She is so gifted in her ability to choose colors that are not only just right for the project but also ones in which the customer is comfortable. The bonuses are that she is very professional, efficient, AND a delightful person ! On top of that, she gave me input and guidance to other aspects of the project that I was agonizing over! SHE IS A GEM !

Diane has a wonderful eye for color and design. She is very creative and her ideas were so original that the clients wants and desires were totally accomplished perhaps with ideas they hadn't looked at. I've seen her other work and she can do modern business design as well as country or traditional looks. My parents home was getting ready to go on the market and Diane helped us with staging which really showed the house nicely. My mother loved her ideas and wished she had used her earlier! She makes what can be a harrowing experience fun. She can handle any project whether a home or business with the same personal care and commitment.

Diane has listened to our clients then excelled at capturing the wants and desires of those clients, offering color choices that work well together while featuring the special qualities of their space and design.

Also very creative(came up with a really great idea for a custom outdoor iron railing) and very easy to work with. Diane is a one-of-a-kind professional. She helped me choose colors for my children's bathroom area (including cabinets, sink area, and shower). I only showed her pictures of the existing space. She asked many relevant questions, and afterwards, she suggested the color palette. I was duly impressed at the depth of her knowledge and I'm very happy with the results.

I have used Diane for our interior remodel and then later she helped us choose the exterior colors for our house. We LOVE her work. We hired her for her unmatched color vision, but once we got to know her, her role expanded to choose the furniture, accessories and even a full house remodel. She is extremely gifted in design to fit the house and our taste. She is sensitive to the budget and working with existing choices if they can't be changed.
