Renee Auge Interiors

As the designer and project coordinator, Renee was a model of professionalism in the updating, organizing and general sprucing up of the large suburban home. Working with various trades, including me (painting contractor, hired by client), Renee gave clear direction and kept things on track. She is like a velvet locomotive. In her hands, rooms, walls, shelves and closets became both more beautiful AND functional. She is very hard worker and a marvel of organization. The homeowners placed huge trust in her, and Renee, in turn did a great job of keeping them appropriately informed. On top of all that, she was very respectful, cheerful and positive.

Renee is the kind of designer everyone dreams of: full of expertise in materials and design, but creative and brave enough to guide the home owner to express their unique joy in life, whatever that may be. This bath remodel of an avid gardener is a perfect example. With Renee's guidance we created a space that fills her bath with happiness and color, and celebrates what she loves. Custom artwork on tiles and sink is a perfect collaboration of art and design.

I have hired Renee Auge Interiors for 2 projects - the first a living room redecoration; the second a bathroom remodel. On both projects she was knowledgable with many resources. She has a positive attitude, patient and encouraging when I wasn't sure what I wanted or if I changed my mind during the planning stage. With the living room, I decided to add refinishing the hardwood floors throughout. The bathroom project started out as a simple redecorating and became a thorough stripping of walls, rebuilding closet space and cupboards, replacing bathroom fixtures. We were able to coordinate use of tradesmen, carpenters I knew, and suppliers with whom Renee had experience. Renee's guidance in selecting products, colors and quality work was especially vital to the project. I made the mistake of not mentioning price range early on because I was unsure about what exactly I wanted. As the project evolved, it became more extensive and expensive than I had anticipated. However I love the finished bathroom. And I must admit I found the basic design idea (colors and wainscotting) on Houzz and finally said, "that is what I want!" We stayed on schedule on the whole which required much coordination on Renee's part between suppliers and workers.

Renee Auge is a professional interior decorater who has assisted me in revamping several rooms in my home over a number of years. She has an especially acute eye for color which is manifested expertly both within a room and for the flow from room to room. I'm limited in mobility and her footwork where she makes several selections of products and coordinates workers such as rug installers reflects my desires and taste. Renee always stays within my budget and my aesthetic considering, for example, my prediliction for flowers and folk art. She always arrives on time for an appointment and stays focused on the business at hand, thus making the best possible use of our time together. Because of her attention to detail my home is admired by all who enter!

As a tile contractor, I have worked on several projects with Renee Auge. She is extremely talented and innovative as a designer and project manager. She is very professional and organized... no detail is overlooked. Clients are always delighted with their new spaces, and the ease of the process.
