I had the pleasure of working with Deborah Casey of Residential Interiors this past year. She helped me refurbish my kitchen which needed updating. She was an excellent source of information and advice, and she secured the help of competent professionals to carry out the work which included: installing a backsplash and replacing countertop tops; installing a new sink and a faucet with an on/off touch feature (battery operated); installing new lighting under cabinets; recommending the purchase of a new microwave; selecting new hardware; making necessary adjustments to cabinetry; repainting cabinetry and kitchen space. Ms Casey helped me select materials and choose colours. She accompanied me to showrooms, and her experience guided me through the duration of the project. I love the finished product - my kitchen - and it would not have been successful without the skill and expertise that Residential Interiors was able to offer.

After careful consideration, my husband and I chose Debbie to oversee our master bathroom renovation while we were away in Europe for the winter. We trusted her completely to handle the project because we had worked with her before on many other decorating projects over the years throughout our home and found her to be honest and transparent. One of the things I appreciated most was her attention to detail when it came to interior choices and their functionality as well as esthetics AND the budget restrains. She was respectful of the financial limits we discussed and never pushed unnecessary expenses. Despite staying within budget, the end result looked anything but limited - our bathroom was elegant, personalized, and truly exceeded my expectations! Another important point I would like to stress is how pleasant and easy she was to work with. Debbie encourages your input and will bring you along on her shopping sprees to make sure you are completely involved in the project ...if you want to be. Your choice. Her approachable demeaner made it easy to express concerns or ideas, and she handled everything with grace and enthusiasm. I would highly recommend her (and I have) to anyone looking for a skilled, trustworthy, and personable interior decorator.

I have been working with Residential Interiors for the past three years since purchasing my new build, and the experience has been exceptional. We engaged Deborah Casey to design and supervise the renovation of a small downstairs bathroom. She listened carefully to our needs, took note of the surrounding decor, and gave us a design that incorporated some features of the existing bathroom that we liked and suited our tastes, rather than simply providing a mere "designer" bathroom. She engaged good contractors, sought out wallpaper, paint colours, and fixture designs to give us a choice within the parameters set, and supervised the project to completion. We are very satisfied with her work and recommend her highly.

This was my second project overseen by Residential Interiors . It is always reassuring to work with Debbie as she so keenly understands my wishes and my tastes and guides me in making decisions that bring a satisfactory result while respecting my financial restraints. I hired Debbie to help me chose new paint colours for my L/R and kitchen. She came up with a clever way to use two similar colours in the L/R and down the hallway to the bedrooms. She also picked out a new area rug, dining room fixture and gave me suggestions for furniture placement. All subtle changes but a huge improvement. Love the new look!

My project was not a large one but Debbie treated it as such. She listened to my wishes and provided a range of suggestions that perfectly suited my taste and budget. I was guided through choices at supply stores that Debbie had narrowed down to a reasonable number, making the task of choosing much easier. Debbie arranged for an excellent contractor and followed up with each step of the project. At all times I felt I was in the hands of a professional whom I could trust.

I consulted Debbie on the choice of paint colours in my bungalow. She was very helpful, making Benjamin Moore suggestions for me. I wanted to keep some of the room colours, the same, while making colour changes in my kitchen area. She easily convinced me to paint a wall, a bolder colour. This was a bit out of my comfort zone, but it all worked very well. Everything blended nicely and I was happy (am still happy! ) with the choice.

Debbie came up with a beautiful colour palette for our home, and a very functional design for our busy family. She listened to our preferences and followed through on every question that we had. She was understanding of our budget and worked to stay within it. We plan to hire Debbie again for our next renovation plans.
