I thought everybody did. As a kid growing up in the country, I can remember wanting a sidewalk and neighbors. Who wanted to learn to ride a bike on a gravel driveway? And who wanted to be so isolated from your friends? But that's the way it was. So I made up for what I didn't have by using my imagination. My brothers and I would build roads in the sandbox for all the army trucks to navigate. Snow drifts would get tunneled into, and we would carve out snow "furniture" for the room we had just created. The autumn leaves provided the construction material necessary for my makeshift floor plan. In other words, I took what I found and made the most of it.

Rhonda Kieson has helped us with remodeling projects over the past 10 years, starting with a total reconfiguration of our kitchen. She increased the functionality of our kitchen, adding an amazing amount of storage and counter surface in a small space. When we were ready to remodel our master suite and closets and a guest bath, we contacted Rhonda for the project. From design, to organizing sub-contractor work, to finishing touches, Rhonda was efficient and the final result was beautiful. Once again this summer, we decided our main floor needed updating. With her design prowess, new paint schemes and iron balusters for a sleeker staircase, our home is brighter and more inviting. Contact Rhonda for any design needs. I am so happy that I found Rhonda. In addition to her design skills, she has the ability to walk in a room and immediately see its possibilities in a way that you never could, no matter how long you looked or how many houzz plans you studied. What I appreciate most about her is that she doesn’t have a cookie-cutter style that she wants to replicate for all her clients – instead, she takes the time to get to know who you are and what will fit with your personality, taste, and lifestyle. Before seeing Rhonda’s designs, we thought that moving was inevitable in order to accomplish the layout we wanted now that our family has grown. Now, we want to stay here forever.
