My wife and I had recently moved into our new house and had some rooms and areas we were at a loss what to do with. We brought in Rita and she was able to offer a venerable cornucopia of great ideas that we could implement at our own pace. I was always under the impression that an interior designer would be cost prohibitive but in my experience I found her work to be well worth it and with someone to help hunt for the best prices without wasting time it is a savings in the long run.

Rita is extremely professional and knowledgeable. She helped with the many decisions that need to be made when renovating. Rita helped with tile selection, lighting, wall color, countertops, etc. In addition, whenever problems presented themselves, she was on-site helping come up with solutions. She interfaced beautifully with contractors and was extremely patient when we went out to select materials. She also was great at helping me incorporate existing home decor in the new space for the greatest impact. Once Rita came onboard the project ran much smoother. Her ideas were very sophisticated. I highly recommend Rita.

I have used Rita Lyons for decorating, consulting and staging. She is terrific at all three and is naturally talented beyond your average decorator. She combines her interior design degree and wealth of knowledge with her innate ability to just "know" what looks elegant and unique. We are a high-rise luxury condominium complex on the Gold Coast in Northern New Jersey. We used Rita Lyons Designs on a few projects. As a designer from planning to installation on a Lobby Front Desk, Seating Area and a modernization of our Library furniture. We also used the firm as a consultant for our hallway carpet renovation. She was fantastic - her presentations were wonderful and spot-on for a multi residential building.. Rita followed each of the projects in a timely and professional manner and was ever cognizant of the residents and their demands and needs. Would highly recommend.

We renovated and expanded our 100 year old home in Fair Haven, NJ. Rita understood my plan and vision and was able to pull together unique designs and create a cohesive, sophisticated, welcoming space throughout. My home feels like it tells a story combining the old house charm with some modern pieces and open space. It feels like the beach to me. I like to tell my friends and family that while I think I have some good ideas, Rita was able to wrap them all up along with her creativity ideas in a beautiful bow! This project was so much fun to work on with Rita. With Rita's experience, artistic talent, an eye for timeless pieces and access to design resources, we were able to pull together special places throughout my home. It was really was a great team effort having Rita available to bounce ideas off of my architect and builder when we needed to make some construction changes during the project. I also wanted stained glass in my kitchen. Rita and I worked together with a local stained glass artist who created a one-of-a-kind piece for my kitchen window. Rita was very flexible with time and communication - from me shooting her random texts at all hours to meeting during lunch at the D&D Building in NYC to accommodate my work schedule. If I ever embark on another interior design project, I will definitely reach out to Rita.
