Robin is fantastic! She is always both friendly and professional. She always listened well and learned our style quickly. She then guided us through an efficient series of decisions about cabinets, appliances, light fixtures, stone, tiles, etc. etc. as she gradually assembled these many small pieces into an overall design. She then worked with the contractor (who was also terrific) throughout the project, and towards the end we also asked her help with furniture and decorations. The result is our dream home. Robin is magical! Her design skills are outstanding. I was overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. She came in an helped me to envision what I wanted. Her ideas were beautiful! She has amazing contacts and so we only visited showrooms that were top quality. There were many times, I felt completely overwhelmed while working with contractors and she patiently, guided me. She listened and created what I wanted. The most amazing thing about Robin is that she is kind, brilliant, patient, and has become a treasure in my life. Feeling so grateful.

When we decided to take our new home down to the studs, Robin was our choice to help develop an overall vision of what the house could be and then help us make it a reality. What we wanted was half formed and uneven. What we developed together with a great deal of help, design input and ingenuity from Robin was a coherent plan that provided a tasteful blend of styles, materials and finishes that made our new home sing. Years later, when it became time to move again, we gladly turned to Robin to help us remodel a very dated bathroom to something more contemporary. From custom cabinetry, to tile, to lighting, Robin guided us through every aspect of the remodel which eventually coalesced into the modern fresh looking bright master bath we had envisioned. Always the consummate professional - every time we met with Robin, she was wearing work boots, had a construction belt on, a pencil behind her ear and spit a lot! That meant for EVERY meeting, EVERY decision and EVERY recommendation made, we were reassured that our budget was well spent on superior quality products and services. If you are looking for someone with a personal touch to bring a creative eye to your space then I cannot recommend Robin highly enough.

Robin came highly recommended and I engaged her to design a fireplace in the master bedroom. During the consultation, we talked about lifestyle and the use of space. We determined that a more extensive remodel would be needed. Robin listened carefully, she took detailed notes and thorough measurements. She channeled her creativity and brought forward design proposals that truly represented what I envisioned. For example, in the kitchen, Robin designed for functionality without compromising on aesthetics. Now the kitchen has marble countertops, with custom cabinets and pullout, kidney-shaped shelves to maximize space, and a convenience carousel in a corner cabinet. In the master suite, she brought out the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape into the color scheme. The fireplace, pendant light fixtures, and custom-built furniture transformed the room. Robin is delightful. She is an expert and her sharp eye inspires confidence that the project will reach completion with the attention it deserves. Her process is clear, she communicates regularly about the stages and when delays occur, Robin responds with next steps. She can work with any budget. She suggests what she thinks works and yet is open to other ideas. My greatest joy in working with Robin is her open, collaborative style, her natural talent and creativity, her detail-orientation, and our partnership. It is a process to transform a home from vision to reality; it was a joy to do so with such a gifted professional.

Robin is the most amazing person to work with on any design project. She gets so invested in each aspect and approaches everything wish so much care and attention to detail that you can relax and realize she's thought of everything. She knows how to bring an idea to life and make your dream remodel a reality. With Robin's help we transformed my dark, drab kitchen in to an open, airy space with ample counter space and cabinet space. I love to entertain, but never felt that the flow of my kitchen to my living space ever really worked well. My home is over 30 years old with a lot of outdated features and she really listened to what I didn't like and came up with a design that not only improved upon the space, but also incorporated my love of Salsa dancing, (we added wood flooring throughout) so I can dance around the house with my friends, created areas where friends could mingle and truly created an inviting and useful space. Her knowledge of color and design are so vast and she was able to take my vision and improve upon it, showing me what would work well, or letting me see various options and show me the pros and cons of each. As with any such job, the improvement of my kitchen made other areas of my home look outdated. Robin was able to come up with ways for me to improve the look of the rest of my home without having to go through a remodel of the entire home. I very highly recommend Robin for any design project you have -- large or small.

My husband and I were looking to update our kitchen. We live in a Victorian with 11ft ceilings, and the kitchen has floor to ceiling windows. Though there is plenty of light, we wanted to change the dark cherry cabinets to white. We also wanted to create a cozy breakfast nook as part of the redo. The alcove also had floor to ceiling windows which, I thought, would create a problem. We also wanted to, perhaps, enlarge the island and to update the appliances and countertops. We knew of Robin’s reputation for meticulous work and creative ideas. When we met up with Robin, we immediately became excited to work with her. Her manner is so professional and at the same time tinged with warmth, understanding and intelligence. She grasped our needs and responded thoughtfully to our questions. She provided us with clear and detailed drawings of the proposed work and guided us through the process of purchasing our new appliances, accompanying us to the dealers to ensure we ordered what we needed. Robin’s design process made us feel secure in the choices she presented. There was always clear communication and open dialogue. She put us in touch with the highly skilled carpenters, upholsterers, tilers, and fine woodworkers who created the kitchen and nook we had visualized.
