I have been working with Kim for about 9 months now. She first helped me transform my son’s childhood bedroom into an inviting, relaxing and beautiful guest room. I just love the room and so do our guests! Once that project was completed we started planning the remodeling of the kitchen, laundry room, powder room, foyer and entry at our lake house. Kim’s ideas, vision and assistance in redesigning the layout of these rooms and selecting the cabinetry, counter tops, sinks, faucets, flooring, etc. have been invaluable. She did an incredible job of helping me coordinate and pull everything together. The layout of the space will be much more functional. My husband and I wanted the look to be “rustic lake house” and she nailed it! I am so excited to see the finished project. I know it is going to be spectacular! Kim has unique ideas, a great eye for color and design and above all, she is such a pleasure to work with! She also has a great staff and access to a wealth of products including furniture, upholstery, drapery, lighting, bedding, art, accessories, anything you might need. Thanks Kim!

Having made the decision to downsize from a large house to a condo in 2015, I hired Salmon Casson to help me with the challenging transition. Tasked with creating a warm and inviting yet elegant and flowing living quarters in less than half of the footage of my current house, Kim and Melinda were game for the big challenge! They have become an integral part of my transition "team" incorporating my most cherished pieces into a mix of new and fresh elements to create just the right atmosphere for my scaled down lifestyle. I have been particularly impressed with their command of color and use of space. From color scheme to furniture, rugs and window treatments, Kim and Melinda really "got my style" and have provided a vast variety of resources for each element to create a uniquely me environment of flowing comfort and elegant ease. They each have a great eye for the overview and each element included in the finished product. In addition to the overall design work for the new condo, they provided exceptional staging expertise for the marketing of my house which is certainly a strength for the team. Not only are they easy to work with and open to ideas, they work together seamlessly to ensure that every last detail is in place.

I found Kim Casson through Houzz a year ago, and am so happy with the results she has provided for our home. Based upon her portfolio, we were excited to see what she might be able to do for our home. From the start, Kim was a great listener, and very creative in her deign. We moved into our home a few months prior to calling her, as we inherited a style that just didn't match our own. We worked with Kim to design our main floor living room and sunroom. We wanted a personal sanctuary, but also entertain quite a bit, so we needed a balance of elegant and inviting. Kim did a terrific job of understanding our aesthetic. I was very pleased with the items she sourced, as well as her vision for the space. She completely transformed our living room and sunroom with interesting artwork, furniture selection and placement. We've gotten so many compliments on our home. I highly recommend her for any business or personal design need.

Kim was our designer for this project. We turned our unused sunroom into our music room, and our music room into a study for my husband. The music room is open to our family room, and Kim designed a gorgeous area with a beautiful chandelier over our baby grand piano. We love looking into the room . As far as my husbands' study, let's just say that he spends most of his day in there, working, lounging, and feeling very happy with how Kim deigned it. We couldn't be more pleased. She is wonderful to work with, and she and her whole staff gets our highest recommendation.

Our latest big project was the renovation of our basement into a warm, inviting and fun place for our family, kids and friends to gather and relax. I have worked with Kim and Melinda on several projects - all of which turned out fabulous! We re-did our first floor, where they selected paint colors, floor finish/rugs, furniture, window treatments, lighting and accessories. They were great at incorporating some of my existing furniture/accessories while still achieving an overall "wow" factor, that not only looks nice, but also reflects my family personality. The furniture we've ordered from them is all high quality and can handle the "heavy/active living" style that happens at my house! I have enjoyed all of their recommendations, services and products and do not hesitate to recommend them.

Kim helped us decorate our new house including selecting paint colors; lighting plan and light fixtures; furniture; and a "strategic redeployment" of or existing decor. We have recently hired her again to help complete decorating several rooms in our house. My husband and I can't wait to work with Kim again - not only is she talented and professional, but she is also fun, witty and down-to-earth. She has a real knack for understanding her client's personal style so that a room looks like "you" - just more fabulous than you could do yourself!

I hired Kim Casson three years ago with an interest in a color palette for the house. Although the "bones" of the house were good, and the furniture nice, it did not feel pulled together or like a "home". Kim and Melinda guided me in the selection of a color scheme for the kitchen/family room, as well as the MBR and bath. In the process they suggested a few additional changes to complete and appoint my home. A valance in the kitchen, and custom draperies in the MBR, as well as custom bedding. I am so very grateful for their expertise. It was a smooth, enjoyable process from conception to installation. Kim and Melinda oversaw every detail and were present for each and every step of the project. For a moderate investment I have a custom look that came with custom service in every way. I've had the pleasure of working with Salmon-Casson on two different occasions. I can't say enough about their professionalism and skill. Kim's warm genuine personality made it easy to work with her. She always listened and got to know what I liked and did an amazing job of working with what I already had where possible. My favorite experience was the day that I left for work with just an average looking home and came home that evening to a fully transformed one. Kim and Melinda worked their magic....it was like a dream come true!

I hired Kim and her team to renovate and redesign our office, specifically the conference room and the reception area. The conference room was just a shell, everything was painter white. We purchased furniture, light fixtures, wall paper...its gorgeous. We receive compliments from everyone who visits us. Our employees love to sit in the room because its so peaceful. She did the same quality of work in the reception area, making it beautiful and functional. This is the second renovation that Kim and her staff have completed for our company. The first renovation was a re-design and build out for 8500 square ft. It was amazing once it was completed. Kim is wonderful to work with, as is her entire team. They met deadlines and went above and beyond to work around the busy office schedules.
