Melissa began her college education studying Public Relations and Advertising. After getting married and raising three children, she returned to school to pursue Interior Design, embracing the opportunity to follow her lifelong dream. She started her career working for a well-known commercial and residential builder, where she gained valuable industry experience. Determined to grow, Melissa actively marketed herself and attended networking events to build strong connections within the design community. Through dedication and word-of-mouth referrals, her reputation quickly grew—clear proof that her drive and passion were paying off. As her portfolio expanded, Melissa was recruited by one of her key clients, Seldin Company, to serve as Design Director. In this role, she has led a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, multifamily renovations, new construction, and retail spaces—not only in Nebraska, but across multiple states. Many of the connections Melissa built through years of networking and dedication to her craft remain strong today. Several of her former mentors now regard her as a respected peer, and she continues to exchange knowledge and share in the passion for design with industry leaders. Melissa has collaborated with some of the top developers in the field and has cultivated an extensive and diverse design portfolio.
