I met with Mary Lou at my home on 11/2/2019. The consult went well and she was compensated, with the promise to supply me with all of the décor ideas information that was discussed. Unfortunately, I did not hear back from her. I decided to call her on 11/13/2019, to request my décor plan results. And she simply stated that she had been busy. She sent me an email listing some of the topics we discussed and ended it with, HOPE THIS HELPS. I don’t think that my project was important to Mary.

As members of Direct Buy, we were offered a 2 hour consultation with a Decorator. Mary Lou Fewell met with my husband and I at our office. We were in the process of building a new home and needed help choosing colors, floors, cabinets, etc. She gave us 3 references and after checking with them, we hired her. She helped us pick out granite, marble, floors, kitchen cabinets and furniture. Her advice was greatly appreciated. Our new home came out beautiful and we are very pleased with it. We would definitely use Mary Lou again if we were to undertake another project. We have recommended her to friends.

I have worked on several projects with Mary Lou. Some very small, and some very large and I have never been disappointed in the quality of her work. Her expertise in color and drapery/window treatments is amazing and she quickly picks up exactly what her clients wants without wasting their time.

Shades of Blue designed and had my drapes fabricated for 7 windows in the front rooms of my 1860's home in Uptown. I have 13 foot ceilings and the drapes needed to be 135 inches long. They turned out beautiful. They surely make the room.

Commented: What is this countertop material and color name? ThanksThis is Fantasy Brown which is actually a "hard" marble. It varies quite a bit so you have to see the slab in person. It has grays, whites, sometimes greens or brown. This is my favorite nat...
