Wendy redecorated most of our summer home and then designed and decorated a renovation in a new Boston condo. Wendy was so easy to work with, was always so professional and worked well with others on the project. Shorebird Interiors has done an outstanding job on my home redecoration project. They have managed all aspects of the project: wall and window treatments, furniture and upholstery selections, and floor treatments as well. All rooms complement and support each other. The designer has a wide design vocabulary and is competent and fluent with many different design grammars. The designer listens carefully and has translated my design aspirations into concrete recommendations that work well supporting my taste and budget expectations. The designer is a trained architect as well which brings a very welcome wholistic approach to the entire project. Highly recommended.

Wendy of Shorebird Interiors has completed two projects for us – 1) my home office and 2) our family room / kitchen. We are delighted with not only the end results, but also the process Wendy led us through to get there. As a sailor, I wanted a strong nautical theme for my office. She spent hours working with me and researching how to make it ‘just right.’ Wendy listened carefully, presented great ideas, and ensured I got the office I’d dreamed of. When it became clear that a stock desk just wouldn’t work for my space, Wendy custom-designed a nautical-theme desk for me. I admire it whenever I’m working at it. We had a similarly great experience with our family room / kitchen project. She was relentless about drawing us out, and then leading us toward a solution that delights us. Wendy has excellent relationships with contractors, and we used many of them. She is a perfectionist regarding the quality of work on her clients’ projects. That said, most contractors volunteered privately how much they enjoy working with her – she’s smart, pragmatic and fair, yet never compromises on the interests of her client. I sincerely look forward to engaging her on our future projects.

I hired Wendy to do the interior design for my master bedroom and family room/sitting area. I found her to be very professional and she really knows her craft. I was ecstatic with the outcome. She had created a beautiful place where our family can gather for many years to come. She was a joy to work with and I would recommend her highly. We worked with Wendy to design and decorate our new Cape Cod home. Wendy's design services included design of interior millwork finishes, floor finish selection (hardwood, carpet and tile), cabinet design and finish for kitchen and bathrooms, faucet styles and sink selections, tile layout and design in bathroom & kitchen, lighting package selection, paint selection, tile and counter surface selection. She also helped us decorate the home including window treatment selection, furniture selection, area rugs, artwork and lighting. Wendy was extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. She presented many options and was respectful of our tastes and budget.

I am a workroom offering fabrications of custom home furnishings, pillows, cushions and window treatments. Wendy and I met recently at a home show. Within days, we started working together on several treatments she needed for a client. Wendy isa delight to work with. Her work orders are specific and easy to follow. Redesign of a room from a combination living/dining room to a dining room. Service included design concept through installation. The experience was a great one the end result was a beautiful very functional room. Wendy listened to what we wanted, was open to change and is professional in every way.

Wendy is the consummate professional. Not only does she bring the artful skill of a designer to work, but she carries wonderful people skills. By this I mean that she listened exceptionally well to my needs and tastes, and made suggestions that fell right in line with them, She taught enough about design basics, that I was able to expand my ideas and stretch into some new areas. This is what I really wanted...to get out of my own way and move into some new design concepts. Wendy delivered an outstanding and very usable design plan to me, with every color and fabric choice woven into a lovely overall plan. My main living space is now so much more livable and lovable!
