Your project was budgeted and approved with a spreadsheet showing where the costs would be allocated with respect to materials and design, although we kept within budget, my labor was higher due to time spent with unforeseeable circumstances that were not in the scope of the project.
You mentioned the project wasn't completed and you were missing some things. The items that were missing were replaced in the budget by the cost of additional items you approved which were not in the original scope of work.
Moving forward, doing more work beyond the original scope of work and budget, is considered a "new project" which is to be quoted and approved by the client. Because of your continual questioning of my choices from design to billing, I concluded I wasn't the right designer for you and chose not to move forward with another project. I wish you success in future projects.
