Star Furniture

Paid over $6,000 for a leather living room L shaped sofa. When it was delivered we noticed a tear in one piece so I called customer service and was given an email address to send pictures to, which I did. Three days later and no response so I called again and was told they need to send a technician out to fix it. I asked them how do you fix a tear in leather and that I prefer they replace the piece with one that wasn't torn but they insisted they have to send a tech first. The tech shows up the following week and was upset that they sent him rather than replace the piece, so he entered in his report that it couldn't be fixed. Five days later and no word from Star so I called customer service again and after being put on hold for 10 minutes that rep came back and said they will deliver a new piece. Not happy this wasn't done on the first call, and even less happy that no one from Star ever reached out to me. I had to initiate all the contact and movement.

Our Furniture was in excellent conditions with an impecable delivery! So profesional and neat, I widely recommend this store, I qualified it with 5 Stars!

We purchased the sofa and ottoman in March of 2021, by August on the front of the couch the leather was wrinkly, we contact Star and they sent the repair person out. The repair warranty person pulled out a heat gun and attempted to smooth out the excess material. Now it’s October and it’s back along with the fabric underneath the couch is now showing. We contacted Star again on October 24, 2021 and asked if they could come and pick up the couch for a store credit, we were told we needed to send pictures again,,,, and they would send someone out again but that’s all they can do.. so we’re stuck with a piece of junk. Do yourself a favor by from a reputable company that appreciates your business and not just out to make a buck.

My salesperson, Martha R., was very helpful in my living room selection that we love. She listened to what I was looking for and helped me find just what I needed. The delivery team was exceptional. My furniture arrived carefully wrapped, on time, and set up as I asked. They were very professional, the best I have ever had for a furniture delivery. I highly recommend Star Furniture for its outstanding service.

I had read terrible reviews of Austin's Star Furniture store so I had some trepidation in using them. However, our experience was great. We are in a vulnerable age group for the pandemic, but were anxious to see the piece of furniture in person before purchasing it. We were able to make an appointment with our salesperson, Judy Simpson, before the store opened to minimize our exposure to other shoppers. She was wonderful to work with -- knowledgeable, friendly, and careful of Covid protocols. The delivery date was impacted by the horrific "Great Freeze" and had to be changed. That was done without a problem. The two young men that delivered the cabinet were friendly and very careful with our new furniture as they brought it into our house and placed it exactly where we wanted it. So, I am sorry that some people felt they received terrible service from this store and company, but our experience, from beginning to end, was excellent.

I purchased the Project Hill dining room set from Star Furniture after searching and comparing prices with other companies online. The price of this dining room set by far was the best. Delivery was only 3 days after ordering online. And the delivery team did an excellent job setting up the furniture, was very courteous, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

I was never attracted by the Star Furniture, it was until we flooded with Harvey, we needed to buy all the furniture for our home. I was impressed how knowledgeable is the staff and understanding what was my needs. The managers always willing to help, considering our personal situation. The quality and huge inventory of furniture was also a great surprise for me. I had visited almost all the Star stores in the HOU STON area

I can't say enough about this company. Our home flooded during hurricane Harvey and for the most part our Star Furniture pieces survived as it is solid wood! I had some parts though that I needed for some older discontinued pieces and these guys worked tirelessly finding the items I needed to make my furniture whole again. At the same time I made a purchase and they were most generous with pricing and getting my rooms put back together with new furniture. I have shopped with Star for the most part for everything furniture and I can't say enough about their customer service and quality of furniture. Their delivery team is very good about keeping you informed as well. No complaints here.

Star Furniture is wonderful. My salesperson, Suzy Haws, and the delivery staff are the best. The furniture selection is so versatile. I purchased new furniture throughout my home in 2014 and 2015. We flooded in the tax day sale IN 2016. Star was there when I had to buy a full house full of furniture. They offered a flood discount to all flood victims. I highly recommend this company and for sure, my salesperson, Suzy.

Great experience from sales representative at the Sugarland, TX gallery to delivery. Called ahead, was on time, very carefull and efficient unloading into the house and our sales rep called us afterward just to see if everything went well. We'll go back.

Consistently pleased with the service as well as the quality of furniture from Star. We have purchase several pieces and were diligent in a shopping for the purchase and found that the price and quality at Star furniture simply could not be beat.
