I have worked with Wendy on a number of rooms and have loved her style, vision, and patience. We are in a new house, so I was overwhelmed with so much to do, but she helped me focus and gave me fabulous design & decor options. From lighting, to backsplash, to custom window treatments and more, I love the rooms we've done together so far, and I will continue to work with Wendy for future projects as well.

Wendy helped design the combination of 3 NYC pre-war apartments over the course of 2 years into a beautiful contemporary home. The apartments were gutted and the space was reconfigured to include 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an office, great room and a kitchen. She was part of every step of the process starting from the architectural design phase to furnishing and placing decorative pieces on our shelves. The compliments I receive the most are concerning my 8 large light fixtures, dining room table, paint colors and kitchen backsplash. Wendy was always open to my ideas and presented her projects in a organized fashion for each space. My husband and I appreciated her putting forth multiple design options at various price ranges for furniture, fabrics and custom pieces. She was always efficient with her use of time, showed up for appointments and returned many phone calls/ emails quickly. Wendy was able to collaborate professionally with the contractor and sub-contractors to follow through with our vision. Most importantly, Wendy is a kind, patient and understanding person who relieved a lot of the stress during this large undertaking. We feel that our NYC home is unique and suits the needs of our family thanks to Wendy Strauss. She deserves the highest recommendation for the quality of her work. I have had the pleasure of working with Wendy on several projects over the last couple years. The first thing she did was to transform my formal living room, which at the time was being used as a playroom for my three young boys, into the most sophisticated and elegant space (all while respecting our budget). From the moment she walked through the door she helped us visualize the possibilities. From the start, Wendy understood how important our home environment is to us and she immediately got a sense of what we were looking for. Next, she was on to the powder room which came together just as beautifully and gets comments from all our guests. Wendy helped me redecorate my "French Country" style kitchen. I was looking to update it and make it more contemporary without spending a lot of money. She completed the job perfectly! By picking a new paint color, changing the kitchen table chairs, bar stools, repainting the table and adding a pendent, my kitchen took on an entirely new look. We love it!!! Wendy had great resources and was able to provide me with plenty of samples and completed the project within my budget.
