We have worked with Constance on four major projects in the last several years. Each of these homes were varied; desert Southwest , city condos, suburban Transitional home. I met Constance in design school over two decades ago. I took the showroom path, while Constance took that of interior designer. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Constance over a multitude of projects; and I’m always impressed by her amazing sense of design and style. We had the pleasure of getting to know Constance, working closely with her on a project in the historic Kalorama neighborhood in Washington DC. It was not a simple project as the entire structure needed to be gutted to the studs. She had worked with the owner on many projects in the past and knew their likes and dislikes but gave us the freedom to set the design in motion. As an architect, we want to work with interior designers that support the architecture and enhance each and every space with elegance. She saw our vision and worked to support it. In turn, her ideas pushed us to make improvements as well. It was a true collaboration. Constance was easy to work with, handling each aspect of the project with professionalism and skill – great with the owner, the architect and the builder. She was an excellent resource with great knowledge of finishes and fixtures and the latest trends. And when confronted with budget issues, worked to find products that supported the design without sacrificing the quality or aesthetic. Constance is an exceptional talent whom we continue to recommend on jobs here in the Washington DC area despite her being from out of town.
