I had the pleasure of working with Susan Lachance on two of my homes. She is extraordinarily talented with an exceptional work ethic and quality to detail. My two homes were totally different styles. She always responds in a very timely manner. She surpassed all my expectations. In addition, her team is always available and knowledgeable. We just finished working with Susan on our third home together. While that is an endorsement already I must add that Susan listens to what you want and then interprets and directs you to your amazing outcome. ( when the vision becomes a reality...) I bought my condo in August 2006. Prior to the closing, I searched through many home design and architectural magazines and cut out six designers that I wanted to interview for a complete gut-job of my two-bedroom condo on the ocean in Boca Raton, FL. The first person I interviewed was Susan Lachance. Susan was not only a designer but she had an extensive architectural background as well. After about an hour of her time, knowledge, ideas and recommendations, I hired Susan on the spot. The chemistry was there immediately and she knew exactly what I wanted. Total interior re-construction and then decorating of our Florida home. Dealing with Susan Lachance and her People was a total pleasure. From the initial planning, given the choice of many different ways to decorate, and then having the work done-------was without any agrivation or problems on our part. We hired Susan Lachance and got more than we expected when she designed our 2200 sq. ft. luxury condo unit which has an odd shaped main living area. Susan Lachance (and her team) is the most creative, most professional, best organized and easiest to work with in the business. She can tune into her clients' taste and work within their budget. With Susan, there are no surprises. The project is planned and documented in a way you would not expect from a creative mind. (She provided the detailed projected costs, photos of furnishings, samples of fabrics and paint colors, and of course, detailed "architectural" drawings.) The results are superb. We will be forever greatful for she has created a paradise which we call home. A word about her design fees. They are non existent. Because, she buys everything at deep discounts. So that, even after she added her markup, we got everything below retail. We loved working with Susan and her team and will hire her for our next project. We recommend her highly....
