I recently had the pleasure of working with Suzy, an incredibly talented interior designer who not only worked within our budget but also managed to transform our living space into a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. An interior designer can completely transform a space, just like she did with our den. From a non-descript room that was hardly used, she updated it to become a beautiful and comfortable space that we now love spending time in. The first thing that really impressed me about Suzy was her ability to stay within our budget. As we had a limited amount to spend on renovations, I was initially unsure of what we would be able to achieve. However, Suzy proved that with careful planning and resourcefulness, she could work wonders while keeping costs under control. One of the aspects I particularly liked about Suzy's work is that she had access to her own resources for unique and beautiful pieces. This meant that our home was not only styled to perfection, but it also had an element of individuality that set it apart from any other design. I was constantly amazed at the creative and stylish choices she made, which added so much personality to our space. I hope to have the opportunity to work on future projects with Suzy. Suzy has an unmatched gift for seeing a space and re-creating it with YOU in mind. She (literally) helped to make our house a home. Specifically, the layout of my home is awkward and ‘boxy’. She opened up each room, and perfected them by the colors and fabrics that she selected. She is also a consummate professional and works with a reliable team (when needed) to ‘get the job done’ within the timeframe and budget estimated. She is also simply a pleasure to work with. She is open to hearing feedback from the client before moving forward with key decisions, and is agile enough to make changes as needed. I’m thrilled to have been able to work with her through the years on several projects. I strongly recommend her expertise for any interior design project.

We have worked with Suzy Smith on a number of projects going back over a decade. Our recent project was to begin updating our 12 year old home focusing on a bathroom; and our entryway from the garage, which is also our laundry room. It is the most used entrance and needed a fresh, bright, updated look. Suzy came in and quickly found common ground on colors and overall design, She then provided us with several detailed options and budget ranges and allowed us to imagine how her designs would look by bringing sample materials with her drawings. On top of her beautiful design work, she also was an extremely effective project manager once we began construction. Every step of the way she was available to answer questions and solve any issue that came up. With any project there are always issues! We were glad to have her every step of the way. Both the bathroom and laundry room/entry elements of the project were a rousing success. They are easily the two best rooms in our house. We are very pleased with the work and all the effort to sort every detail. A true professional and we will be working with her again and again I am sure.

For us, choosing paint colors for the interior of a new house was pretty intimidating. You listened to our ideas, helped us develop a color scheme for the each floor, and made it easy by giving us several great options to work with.
