If you like modern bold designs and want a space that will stand out, get tons on compliments, cohesive with other areas of your home, while remaining functional and easy to maintain Swati is a no brainer. We contracted with Swati Goorha Designs in February 2017 to redesign our kitchen, dining room, half bath and entrance hall. Swati listened to our needs, assessed our style and preferences, and developed an amazing design. Her recommended colors/tones and accessories were perfect. She was readily available not only for the design phase, but during the entire project from start to finish. Inquiries were quickly answered and options clearly articulated. When we thought one of the design elements may not appropriately fit into the plan, she took the time to re-measure and model the design with tape to demonstrate the fit and functionality. We were extremely pleased with her work, the choice of contractors and the completed project. The redesign, functionality and flow are better than we imagined.

My husband and I worked with Swati to decorate a family room, living room, master bedroom and dining room area. At the time we lived in NJ, but our home was in CA. Swati got to know us and our preferences which were obviously very "west coast" oriented, worked with pictures and plans and guided us in the selection of furniture and accessories that fit our lifestyle and home. Friends and Family are highly complimentary when they visit our home. And my husband, who was never into decorating, enjoyed the whole process. Although, I live in CA now, I am committed to Swati for future decorating needs.

We worked with Swati to design our great room and living room and were very happy. She provided guidance on incorporation of elements and colors/tones which we would not have considered without her input -- and the rooms look great. Swati was personable, professional, and patient -- especially good working with two people who really had no idea what they wanted (and had never worked with a designer before). She was open to listening to/understanding our somewhat disorganized tastes and recommending appropriate options. We love our new home and the feel of the rooms Swati helped us with!

After visiting our home, Swati helped us choose the perfect furniture and colors to complement our new layout. Swati provided guidance selecting furniture , carpet and all the paint colors that worked well with each other. Her knowledge of the products and accessories was excellent . She respected our design tastes and did not over power us with her own preferences. The wood trim is original America chestnut and the floors are quarter sawn hi fleck oak so the challenge was to showcase both but not have them overwhelm the room . I think it came together well.

Gitaws Designs did a wonderful job of listening to our needs, understanding our personal style, and making suggestions that worked with our style, but still pushed us in new directions that we loved! We have always felt listened to, and the customer service is wonderful - any concerns we might have had have always been responded to quickly and completely. Our house looks beautiful!

I met Swati by chance in the Ethan Allen store when I was browsing for ideas to update our dining room. She was so helpful! She came to the house to see the space and what we were working with then came up with a complete plan. Her recommendations included things I would not have selected myself, which is the best reason to use a design consultant. We are very pleased with our updated dining room, a room we use almost every day.

We went to Ethan Allen to furnish our new home. Swati was our design consultant. She listened to what we wanted, stayed within our budget, and creatively came up with beautiful rooms for us. She was careful to match our existing pieces. Swati had wonderful ideas, and was careful to present her ideas without pushing them on us. We love what she did for us and our new house.

Gitaws Designs-Our family could not be more thrilled, it was a chance meeting. One of our best moments in our life . Each room was designed in our house plus a remodeled bathroom and custom entertainment center. Gitaws Design handled everything, we never know remodeling could be such a breeze. With Gitaws Design it can be......working with Swati not only did we end up with a beautiful home, we met a wonderful caring person that wants to design a living space with your life-style in mind. Our house now, has the perfect flow for raising a family, relaxing and entertaining. We could not be happier! We just hired Gitaws Design again to design a shore house. To be completed by May 2015, so excited to be working with Swati again!
