My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Joanne Swisterski transformed our principle bedroom. She is talented, professional, and brought our bedroom to life in a way we couldn’t have imagined. Joanne is flexible, provides plenty of thoughtful options when needed, and is consistently punctual and reliable. Her communication is clear and attentive, making the entire process smooth. We highly recommend Joanne to anyone looking for a designer who truly elevates a space.

Joanne has what so few people possess: an impeccable eye for beautiful design. Never could I have imagined our house could look so magazine cover ready. Joanne is a design genius but more she has truly brought my wife and me together where we have had disagreements. She is easy to talk to and a truly wonderful person to have on your team. 10/10!

I am most pleased to recommend Swisterski Design Inc. I worked closely with Joanne when I was rebuilding my house and found her such a pleasure to work with. She has an amazing eye and is so talented as a designer. She is also highly reliable and responsive, which is so critical when you are working on any project. She was so dedicated at helping me realize my vision and the results are just stunning. If you don't have a vision that is ok too! She can help you develop one and knows how to ask the right questions so that she can tailor herself to your needs. Not only did she produce great outcomes but we also had fun along the way! I highly recommend her services. I would hire her again no question.

We thought our home was condemned to have a terrible layout for all of eternity. We talked to many designers that made helpful suggestions, but nothing was hitting home. We thought we would try one last time and invited Joanne over to discuss our issues. One week later, she sent us a plan and we couldn't believe it. It was a layout that was so simple, clever and perfect. Some people have a true talented for a seeing a space for what it CAN be, rather than getting stuck on what it already is. She is one of those people. We love our home now, and we have her to thank for it.

Loved loved LOVED Joanne! She is my interior design savior! I would have been so lost without her, so I would recommend her to anyone if you are like me and cannot visualize what tiles to choose, which fabrics for drapery, how cabinet layouts should look, where to put furniture, etc. She was patient and thorough when explaining concepts and ideas to me. Honestly, home reno’s can be pretty stressful and daunting but she made the experience fluid and easy - from start to finish! Hire her, you'll thank yourself daily!

Joanne was incredibly easy to work with. She has an uncanny ability to tackle stressful situations with such calm and ease, which can be very difficult when renovating a home!!! My partner and I had a bad experience with a designer in the past, and working with Joanne was like night and day. Couldn't recommend her enough! And our home is SO gorgeous, we get showered with compliments every time someone comes over! - Wahed

My wife and I were very nervous about renovating our home, but Joanne was a total life saver. She made the whole process so clear, presented us with beautiful 3d designs and worked with our budget. She created an incredibly organized package for the builder, took care of every order and managed every hiccup like it wasn't even a blip on the radar. She was also awesome when it came to dealing with the builder and all of his tradespeople. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone!
