It was a pleasure working with Tanya, her professionalism, genuine care for her clients and attention to details took much of the stress of designing a brand new house off our shoulders. Since my wife and I worked long, staggered hours, it was always hard to schedule an in person meeting but Tanya was always reachable through texts or phone calls and worked around our schedules so we could still make meetings work. Tanya understood my wife likes to do things on her own so she always gave us lots of personal space and only offered to join on our shopping trips if we deemed necessary, never pushing for extra hours. Tanya is the the whole package, the most amazing one there is.

Tanya reimagined the layout of our basement to maximize the space for our family. We used to have a cramped guest room, a seldom-used playroom, and a never-used nanny kitchenette. Now we enjoy a movie/gaming lounge, craft and music space, built-in storage, an efficient laundry room, and a mudroom with an extra fridge. Thank you, Tanya!

I had the pleasure of working with Tanya on a recent full kitchen renovation. What impressed me the most upon meeting her was her ability to listen and her desire to fully understand my needs both functionally and aesthetically. She was punctual and prompt in all of our communication, answering my many questions, and produced very detailed drawings. She was able to help me choose a wood grain finish for my cabinets when I was struggling to find the right tone, that would blend and enhance our wood floors. In the design field, she is a stand-out, due to her professionalism and attention to detail. We have had many a conversation with Tanya regarding products, finishes and manufacturing techniques in the millwork / cabinetry industry and their potential impact in her design, prior to the completion of her drawings. This means that what is drawn is well researched and "build able" and does not require a "make it up as you go" approach to making the design meet reality. Because of this, she is respected by the trades and contractors she works with. Her ability to listen to clients' wishes and dreams, and then to incorporate all that into a workable design means you are getting a truly individualized experience, and you will be well served.

Tanya delivers a unique package for each client, we have had the pleasure of painting many of her designs and the results are always outstanding. We hired Tanya as our interior designer for the Dunbar / King Edward new home construction, and we definitely benefited from her vision / styles / recommendation. Before the construction project begin, my wife and I have been watching a lot of HGTV shows and have gone to a lot of Open-Houses for inspiration. However, we were overloaded with design choices and option and we were having a hard time trying to convey our design idea into detail spec. We're glad we hired Tanya, because she has been very patient with us, and she was able to take our vague design taste and translated into concrete specs that the builder can follow on. Due to our busy schedule (with works and two kids), we weren't available for too many face-to-face meeting. Tanya was able to work around our schedule, and she has been in constant communication over email. I know, it's 2014 now and people are expected to be reachable over various social network tool such as Line / WhatsApp / etc... However, back in 2008, we only had email and Tanya was great in sending us the design revision via email... We are extremely happy with the end result... Sorry, this review may read like a paid-advertisement... Believe us, it's not... We hired Tanya and we are just very happy with the outcome.
