We worked with Elizabeth on our bedroom remodel and she made things so easy. She has a great eye, provided beautiful options that met our style perfectly and was patient with us when it took some time to make decisions. She suggested pieces that we never would have thought of, such as wall panels and floating nightstands. She ordered all the pieces and when there were a couple minor issues, she rectified things immediately. We were looking for an interior designer looking to help us decorate a new construction condo in Greenpoint. We first saw Tara's work through her Instagram page and thought it matched what we wanted. We reached out, she responded immediately and we are well on our way to having what is going to be a beautiful home. Tara is very responsive and always reachable. More importantly she has a great sense of style and will take input from her client. She is also not afraid to say when we are going down the wrong path. We have been super pleased with her and recommend her without reservation.

Tara did an absolutely fabulous job with our office! We had a huge amount of space to cover and we wanted it to feel elevated and chic--not a typical office request. Overall we needed help with 3 conference rooms, design room, YouTube filming room, mother's room, prayer room, lobby, and employee break area. Many things needed to be custom made and she did a great job finding the right vendors and coordinating installs. We had a very set budget and appreciated how diligent she was in sticking to it. As the main coordinator for my team I appreciated that Tara and her staff were quick to respond to calls and emails. I found them to be professional, highly creative, and they created an amazing space that we love.

We did a gut job combing two apartments. Tara has made this stressful experience (especially in the time of Covid) seamless, with great ideas, style and finesse. She hasn’t skipped a beat and kept the project on task despite delays out of our control. Her advice was on point and she really took the time to understand my husband and my tone. She was also able to bridge our different styles, into something so perfect for us. In addition to her great taste, she’s been a pleasure to work with and someone I genuinely consider a friend....she really is amazing all around!

When I moved into my UWS apartment, I enlisted Tara Benet for the design. The apartment, a spacious pre-war family apartment, features high ceilings, French moldings and wide-planked Parisian-styled oak flooring. I sought to retain and highlight the intrinsic Parisian vibe of the apartment. Armed with this initial inspiration, Tara created a modern, comfortable space that honors the unit’s bones. Sophisticated yet accessible, hip yet timeless, I couldn’t be happier with the result! She and her team were terrific (and, Tara, you are not yet rid of me!) and made the whole process fun and enjoyable.

Each item acquired enhances an already gorgeous apartment. More importantly, Tara is easygoing and fun. Our shopping expeditions are the highlight of my weeks. Moreover, when there is a problem (inevitably), Tara takes full responsibility. She contacts manufacturers and arranges for replacements.
