As the distance learning school year approached, I realized that I needed to turn a unused playroom into an official classroom. This room has two doors and a window in the middle. I didn't want to put three desks against walls and call it a day. I wanted a room that inspired learning and creativity, but I'm spatially challenged. Tarra came highly recommended and I know why. She offers both full concierge "I'll take care of everything" to an hourly rate where she delivers you a plan and you take the reigns. I opted for the hourly since we were on a tight budget. Tarra spent her time talking to us and really understanding our needs. We ended up with a plan that will allow my family to use this room multi-functional and for a very long time. This is something my kids will grow into. She tackled some storage needs that I'm so excited about too. She checked in with me weekly to see how were doing to help guide me when I found desks, fans, materials that would or would not work in the room. I can't wait to work with her on the other projects in our house!!

Tarra is absolutely amazing at what she does and truly has a passion for it! I love working with her because I can bounce ideas off of her and I know she will always give me her honest opinion. She makes my visions come to life and is always a text away for decor advice. She is fun, sweet, very prompt at getting things done and makes the process enjoyable. My wife and I had been thinking about refreshing our home for some time, but we weren't sure where to start. We found Tarra through Houzz and decided to contact her. From the start, she has been a wonderful and super friendly communicator and collaborator. She met with us a few days after our initial phone call, and our in-person meeting was really helpful and productive. She worked with us on our vision for our home (and our vision was scattered all over the place) and she gave us fantastic ideas that we would never have thought of on our own. She followed up on our initial meeting with a helpful summary, some quick mock-ups, and further ideas to keep the process going. If you're on the fence about hiring a designer, it's definitely worth at least giving her a call. Just from our initial meeting, Tarra has already helped us figure out how to make our home a more welcoming and functional place.

After almost 20 years in our Temecula home my wife and I decided it was time to freshen things up a bit. Not a complete remodel, rather paint, carpet, redo a fireplace and office. While looking for ideas on the website Houzz, I came across Tarra's information and was intrigued that she offered hourly consults for projects like ours. We met at our home and she listened to what changes we wanted to make and we shared inspirational photos with her. The great part about working with Tarra is that she didn't try and tell us what we should like, she simply told us what would and wouldn't work based on the ideas that we had gathered. And in areas where we were completely unsure, she provided suggestions, solutions that we had never thought of. She provided a written summary of our consult including recommended vendors, contractors etc. Working with Tarra in this manor is a great option if you don't have the budget for a complete remodel. Highly recommend!

Tarra did an amazing job helping transform our formal living room into a bar/lounge area and also with several other areas of the house as we just moved in and needed to transition our style from what we had had for years to something more updated. Given the restrictions of COVID-19 we consulted with Tarra virtually with the exception of one home visit and were able to accomplish everything we wanted to do and more. Tarra completed our room transformation within the budget and on a timely basis and it looks spectacular!!! I can clearly see her influence in all areas of our house as she was instrumental in choosing various new pieces of furniture for different rooms but also working with what we already had. She also helped us with furniture placement and picture hanging. Tarra not only listened to what we wanted but was incredibly responsive when I contacted her. I would highly recommend Tarra as she did an exceptional job!!!

Tarra is amazing and helped us transform our family room and Dinning room into exactly what we wanted and LOVE!!!! Everything we had was brown and we needed to change it up to match our kitchen and walls which is white and greys. She gave us the tools and ideas on what would open it up, brighten, colors and textures to make it look like a model home and that’s the exact compliments we get when people walk into our home. It’s inviting, cozy and very beautiful! I cannot get enough of it each and every day and we continue to add the touches she suggested and fall more and more in love. She is there with any questions and very honest. Everything we have done and continue to do is all because of Tarra and we are so incredibly thankful for all she has done and will continue to do as she is stuck with us for life! I hired Tarra Vizenor to consult on a difficult design and remodel job that had been started and abandoned by another designer and a high-end paint contractor. I initially chose Tarra because she had a prior working relationship with the this particular paint contractor and she was instrumental in getting the contractor to return to and complete the job satisfactorily. In addition, Tarra delivered what she promised in a timely manner, was generally always on schedule and offered great advice on paint colors, design materials, lighting and fixture options, and miscellaneous other elements of my remodel. She is a knowledgeable, friendly and professional designer who is a delight to work with. I highly recommend her.

I contacted Tarra for design services. I was in the middle of selecting new wool carpet for my home. I had no clue as to what color or pattern to select, or if a pattern was correct. I was overwhelmed to say the least for a guy, and being given multiple suggestions from carpet stores. Tarra was prompt and spot on with her input. I have had great responses from guests to the new carpet. I will be using her services again on other homes I have, and larger projects. Thank you!

Never having hired an interior designer, we decided on Tarra as my wife and I simply could not agree on how to bring all of our thoughts and ideas together. Hiring Tarra was without question one of our best decisions throughout this entire process as she merged our ideas with her expertise and unique flair. Our remodel included coordinating a full kitchen, dining and living rooms design all while being mindful of costs and time constraints. Tarra addressed all of our needs to include, but not limited to: design layout, construction alternatives, lighting needs, painting/color needs, furniture selection throughout, cabinet style/stains/paint, flooring alternatives, etc. She was amazing to work and collaborate with throughout the entire process, and when complete had transformed our single-story ranch style home just as we had envisioned. In addition to being patient and listening well to our wants and needs, Tarra was extremely accommodating, made the selection of materials very easy and in the end blended comfort and style that suits our lifestyle perfectly.
