We hired Janice to help us renovate our vacation home in Lake Toxaway, NC. The home was built in 2000, and we wanted to get rid of the dated traditional elements. We also needed more space for our growing family. We were on a very tight timeline – we began our renovation in December and needed it to be completed by May 10. We added a bunkroom and bathroom for our grandchildren, and we totally renovated five bathrooms, our master closet, a laundry room and our upstairs den/office. In addition to the expected designer services of choosing tile/stone, plumbing fixtures, countertops, mirrors, lighting fixtures, carpet and wood flooring, window treatments, paint colors, cabinet and door hardware, furniture, bedding, and rugs, Janice utilized her architectural skills and actually designed the new and renovated spaces, the bunkbeds, and all of the cabinetry, and provided a full lighting plan to our contractor for each room. We LOVED working with Janice – she has impeccable taste, she listens to what you want and respects your budget, she is creative, yet organized, she is focused and detail oriented throughout the project, and it is an absolute pleasure to work with her! Janice made what should have been a stressful renovation seamless and fun, and both my husband and I are so happy with the result – she transformed our house, and we just love all the spaces! And, we finished on schedule! We were always one step ahead of whatever the contractor needed. I can’t recommend Janice highly enough - this is our 3rd project with Janice, and we are looking forward to working with her on #4, whenever that may be!

I really enjoyed working with Janice Dietz on renovating our home. She's a creative, resourceful designer and offered a balanced view on how to redesign my kitchen, dining room, mudroom, laundry room and master bathroom. I really appreciate her eye for detail and her willingness to lean in and work with our contractor and subs. She has wonderful resources for the materials and appliances we chose and is a good source for reliable options for contractors, cabinet makers, electricians etc. We love the simplicity and functionality of our new spaces. We hired her again to design a screened-in porch that we are living in all the time. We feel like she nailed our style and made our home more comfortable and enjoyable

Janice helped us with our screened-in porch, and also redesigned a bathroom. She will be doing one more bathroom for us coming up. Everything is gorgeous--we absolutely love it. She's easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Janice has been my designer for almost 20 years now. First, there was the major kitchen renovation in my home. Most recently, there was the total renovation of my law office in Buckhead. And there were several smaller projects in between. Janice's incredible aesthetic judgment; her impeccable taste; and her professionalism, are beyond compare. She has a team of workmen she uses on her projects for everything from from demolition to electrical, to paint, to drywall, etc., who help her achieve her vision, and that of her clients. She's not only a designer, she also acts as a quasi-subcontractor, which helps reduce stress and contain costs. My "Wow!" kitchen, and "showplace" office couldn't have been achieved without Janice's input, every step of the way. I just don't make design decisions without her input. She has earned my highest, unqualified recommendation.

Janice was hired to help us initially with two secondary bathroom renovations and our mudroom which turned out beautifully. Based on our experience with Janice on that initial project, we also hired her to complete a full renovation of the main level of our house, including kitchen remodel, main living space, library/den and dining room, as well as a master bathroom and front exterior. Having Janice involved in the project was critical and she is worth every penny. Her design ideas, concepts for how to use the existing space, and her choice of finishes are spot on and she is skilled at redirecting clients toward a solution with which they will be happy. Janice was an essential partner in making our home build a success. She could visualize how everything would come together when we were clueless. Using this skill she gently steered us away from bad ideas and towards a beautiful house. Everyone who sees our house has been gushing about how beautiful it is, and it’s all thanks to Janice!

We hired Janice to completely redesign the first floor of our house which included the kitchen. We were so thrilled with Janice and her talents that we ended up expanding her scope to include the exterior of the house and porch. Janice took our thoughts and ideas and created an amazing space that flows from inside out making it the perfect entertaining space. Janice's space planning skills allowed us to maximize every inch of our new kitchen. We love the new kitchen and how it works for our lifestyle. We found the experience of working with Janice to be a worthwhile investment. We would not have been able to accomplish the renovation, material selection and decorating without her excellent guidance. We could not be more thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Janice.

Janice did an incredible job at planning and executing our master bath remodel! She took our vague ideas about what we were looking for and transformed them into a complete new look. I really appreciated not having to accompany her to tile and paint stores. Instead, she brought us various product and color palettes and we were able to decide almost immediately what it was that we wanted. She took over the management of our project when we were out of the country and worked to ensure that the various contractors performed as expected. We've had so many people compliment us on our updated look. I highly recommend Janice and wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

Janice was not only a delight to work with, she was incredibly professional and prompt and performed an amazing job on a complete interior remodel of our contemporary home here in Buckhead. My wife and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for either remodel/interior design or interior decoration services.

Janice is FANTASTIC!!! She has great ideas, is very organized, and also happens to be brilliant. Having used many designers before, we thought we knew what to expect but Janice is in a league of her own. She brings so much more to the table and we will definitely hire her again. We LOVE the three bathroom renovations we completed and continue to get oodles of compliments.

Janice helped us with our house renovation, and I do not know what I would have done without her. She has great instincts and helped push me outside of my comfort zone. She developed the entire design of our kitchen and it is incredible! We also had an interesting fireplace design to work with and she came up with the perfect solution. She brought to life my style in a way that I would never have been able to do on my own. We have received so many compliments on the design and I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Janice recently helped us with a kitchen renovation. We had originally planned a cosmetic "facelift", but she convinced us to do a completely new kitchen and we are so glad she did! She has outstanding design skills and excellent taste in product choices and colors. She did a fantastic job of maximizing our use of the space we had (for a relatively small kitchen). Janice also has superior project management skills. We would highly recommend her!
