The Lofte Designs

I have always been fascinated with homes that have reflects a fusion of different styles. My pick are rustic, industrial and eclectic, and that is why I wanted a home with colourful furniture, lot of awesome lights and rustic appeal. The awesome lights would make me feel bright from within and uplift the mood of anyone who enters my home :) Believe it or not, it took me 2 long years to find out this awesome duo - Jiju and Deepa! The moment we entered their home cum office studio, I had made up my mind that we would go ahead with them for our dream home! Our home-designing journey with them has been wonderful and the end product is just WOW!!! They have a different taste altogether and it goes beyond the regular brown, black and white interior that we get to see in every second home. Best thing is their attitude - they consider your home as their baby and go out of the way to ensure that you get the best with no compromise on quality at all. They literally chose almost every single thing in our home right from curtains to planters. Deepa's ideas are very fresh and unique! We completely trusted them and gave them a free hand to execute the interiors as per their ideas/plan and believe me I was not at a loss! Their work is very neat and the after-service is also awesome. Their team of supervisors, electricians, carpenters, masons that were involved are also thorough-professionals. They were particular about the material and didn’t compromise at all as far as material is concerned. It was an hassle-free exercise with most of the selection for all the household furniture, curtains, decor items was done by them. There was hardly a time wherein we didn't like what they had chosen for our home. I loved the way Jiju designed the music corner for us. This small corner in my house is my most favourite part and they ensured that it accommodates almost everything that a peppy music corner would have - a guitar place, a quirky table, a bright yellow dash of light on the wall, a small brick wall et al. My next favourite was a wooden flooring.. all this in a very small corner in one of the rooms. I could not believe that so many things could be fitted in the first place! Thanks a lot Deepa and Jiju for this marvelous piece of work - which I call my dream home :)

‘Your home should tell the story of who you are and be a collection of what you love, all brought together under one roof’. We wanted our house to be that dream home and thanks to Deepa and Jiju, it is one today. The ease of explaining our choices, the excitement of seeing it all come together in designs and finally the goosebumps when we saw ‘Our Home’, even better than what we could have imagined- this is what The Lofte Design gave us. Styling our new Airbnb property in Ooty I cannot rave enough about The Lofte Designs, the entire team were ASTOUNDING! They made our house in Ooty practical to host in Airbnb, without sacrificing incredible, jaw-dropping style. We could not be more ecstatic with the results! Our house is everything we have ever wanted and more! Jiju and his team kept us updated every step of the way and truly listened to our design wants and needs. They completely catered to our style and schedule. Deepa has a gift with interior design and added really cool and chic aspects to our project, making the design unique and special to us. Thanks to her, our home is anything but cookie-cutter! Deepa, Jiju and Karen stayed on top of every aspect of the process. If anything needed to be problem-solved, they were there each step of the way ensuring the install went smoothly. Their top priority was making sure we loved the home and had a stress-free experience. The results of the incredible work is now showing in the glowing reviews we are getting for Gravityville Ooty. ACT1: Thanks to my wife she found a quirky 'lil different' kind of home designers on facebook & to be frank I was extremely apprehensive to hire them. ACT2: We meet them in their home. The warmth of their place is amazing & then starts Deepa (doesn't talk but listens & listens). Silently takes down notes & asking a few odd questions about our idea of *home*. While Jiju assesses (again patiently/silently). I am still apprehensive, but their place is absolutely amazing. Moment me & my wife are alone, we eat each other's words "their house is so pretty :)" ACT3: Without much delay within a week, a draft layout plan is ready & so the action begins. Deepa speaks & she speaks in the language & tone of what we have discussed a week back. Jiju explains the technical features & allays our concerns on quality ACT4: we give a detailed feedback on first cut ACT5/6/7/8...N: Over tea, beer, wine, food, we finalize the blue print over & over again. A few ideas we accept but Deepa/Jiju doesn't. My wife & deepa insists on bright 'turqoise colors' & I learn a new color. They team up against me literally but I have Jiju to support me. PreClimax: Before handing over keys we decide on pricing, which fits our bill Climax: we aren't allowed to visit until last day of handover, in between we meet up & see work is being done as per schedule & to satisfaction. I & I alone ask for undue favors of installing a few electricals which is not in their scope & they don't hesitate to say Yes. Intact they go extra mile & help me in finalizing some essential electricals. Conclusion: A perfect hassle free home & we add two friends to our lives. They are professional & friendly. They are creative & technically sound. Someone who would treat your home as their own, literally, & we thank them for that :-) To summarize, had following guidelines to fill in this review, under each section are my remarks. 1. Be respectful: can't, as they are too sweet & friendly 2. Provide a complete description: perfect 3. Focus on facts: when there is flood of creativity there is no room for facts 4. Write at least 20 words: you should have cap on words may fall short

One Saturday afternoon. Two glasses of juice. A wall of exposed red bricks and One friendly couple. That was the day I knew 'they are the ones!' Making a home, as they say is tough but getting the right partners as designers to make your home yours is tougher. We went to the big names, the templatised approaches, the 'we can only do this much in this budget' kinda people and then we met Deepa and Jiju. They came like a breath of fresh air. Not only did they saw the vision together with us, they lived it! Before meeting them, I thought my place was small but afterwards I was amazed to see how much could a small place have! Intelligent design , transparency in communication, out of the world ideas, innovative approach to problem solving, but most of it, treating it like their own place! The Lofte designs, we shall always be indebted to you for our 'home'. just happy to have found you:) P.S- Don't go to them if you exactly know how you want the place to be. They are creators and Not executors!

Everyone aspires to make his/her home special, but most of us either are not clear on what we want or how to bring things together to give homes complete and uniform look. It was no different in our case, we were unsure of interior designs, themes etc. We needed experts would listen to us in detail, understand our taste, and come up with overall design. My wife was also particular about exclusivity, hence it was among key decision making factors. When we interacted with “The Lofte Design”, were really impressed with their professionalism and time they spent to understand our likes/dislikes, our inclination towards singularity, and henceforth proposed the European Rustic design theme for our house. It was unbelievable, the 3-D design, the presentation, etc all were very impressive. In summary, they ticked all boxes, and we were happy to proceed. Lofte Design brought exclusivity along with well thought execution to the most promising manner. …… to name a few of them, the European Barn Door for our open kitchen (most likely the first here), dining chairs combination, book shelf, my daughter’s room that looks like yummy ice cream parlour etc. I really thank Deepa and Jiju, founders of Lofte Design for bringing everything together to make our home Dream Home. Can’t be happier with continuous praise from friends and neighbours. Thank You “The Lofte Design”.

“The Lofte Design” – A team who understood my definition of “A Perfect Home”. You guys educated us on various possible themes and encouraged us to go for a home which we had fantasized since ages. Your personalized touch blended with utter professionalism, attention to details with lot of patience and abundance of creativity has made our experience memorable. Deepa and Jiju did a wonderful job of designing the interiors for our house. They have an excellent taste and were able to convert our ideas into exactly the kind of personal space we wanted - fun, vibrant but grounded.
