The Sitting Room was established in 2003 by founder, Kate Regan. Our interior design firm works with clients in the Minneapolis St. Paul area and across the country on new construction, remodels and vacation homes. She has helped me find fabrics to recover a chair or sofa, but has also done large scale projects for me in furnishing my new home top to bottom. She has an eye for current styles and trends, but does an amazing job in keeping the overall look timeless. She is professional, respectful of budgets and stays on time. I can't say enough about how much I love working with Natalie and The Sitting Room. She does such a great job of taking my input, thoughts and "style" and gently weaving them together into a cohesive and gorgeous room. I think I know what I want but the end product is what I want only so much more! She is a great listener and very approachable which makes for a great working relationship.

This past year I hired Natalie from The Sitting Room to decorate my condominium in Naples, Florida. She was a pleasure to work with and the results are phenomenal. We gutted a 3 bedroom, 2 bath golf course condinium from top to bottom. Natalie had a vision from the first meeting and was able to express it clearly. She was point on in all of the choices from a space, comfort, utility, and visual perspective. She managed to stay within budget and was competitively priced. She listened to our needs and created the most incredible end product! I highly recommend her and her studio.

Kate helped decorate our new construction home and also assisted with many of the selections for finishing our new home. We are thoroughly satisfied with our new home and all the furnishings inside! She has impeccable taste! She has been patient and understanding, as well as respectful of our budget. Kate has been willing to assist, lending her eye to the most minor of details, giving us more confidence in putting together a cohesive interior design. In partnership with The Sitting Room, Elevation Homes by Streeter and Associates, as well as Union Place, the attached pictures show our main living area, featuring an open floor plan between the dining area, kitchen and living room. Couldn't resist including the bar which Kate patiently assisted with our deliberations re: several aspects of finishing detail.
