The Spotted Frog Designs

We enlisted Huong and her wonderful team at The Spotted Frog to lead the design element of an extensive renovation and addition for our generational vacation property. The project was complicated and time consuming and Huong and Amanda rolled with the punches with encouragement and a sense of humour. We were thoughtfully guided through the selection of each element of the space from flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, tile, lighting, decor and more. Huong took the time to understand our goal - to honour the past, live in the present, and plan for the future. The end result is a space that blends classic comfort with modern elements that feels like a warm hug every time we arrive.

We had a great experience working with the Spotted Frog design team on our living room redesign. Amanda was a pleasure to work with, professional, thoughtful, and attentive throughout the process. She took the time to understand how our family actually lives in the space, our priorities, and our budget, which resulted in a design that feels both intentional and practical. We also appreciated the excellent support from Huong, the owner of Spotted Frog, especially during the furniture ordering and delivery process. The overall experience was smooth and well managed from start to finish. The end result is a living room that looks beautiful and functions well for everyday life with kids. We would happily recommend Spotted Frog to anyone looking for a designer who truly designs for real life.

We had a great experience working with Huong and The Spotted Frog Designs team! Very professional and thorough design process, led by Huong’s expertise, resulted in a master bathroom project that exceeded expectations! Truly a top-notch designer!

I am very grateful for Huong and her team in guiding me and supporting me in moving into my first apartment from a house. She was a joy to work with and I love my new place from my built in cabinets, banquette and all my furniture pieces! My favourites are my pink marble fireplace, wine cabinet and my chandeliers! Simply spectacular!

Delighted. We would absolutely will use The Spotted Frog Designs again if given the opportunity. Huong has been wonderful to work with. She has a professional and methodical process that led us through what I would consider an extensive renovation of our living space. She guided us ever so slightly out of our comfort zone giving us design options that we didn't even know were possibilities. We were honestly blown away by the creativity and attention to the details. We have never done a big renovation before and were very nervous about obtaining a contractor. Huong was able to introduce us to contractors that had executed her designs in the past. This gave us confidence that we would be in good hands. We are sincerely thankful and would recommend using Huong and her team in a heartbeat.

We loved working with Huong at The Spotted Frog on our first project back in 2013, so we did not hesitate to ask her again for our second project which was completed in 2023. Huong listened to what we envisioned and then elevated that beautifully to reflect our lifestyle through her design expertise. Last year, we decided to complete a full renovation and decorating of the main floor of our home which included a brand new kitchen, great room, home office, main bathroom and entrance. We knew Huong's incredible talent and experience in addition to her articulate communication would be valuable in our renovation journey. Our personal style has evolved since the first project so we trusted she would incorporate that and we love our new look! She assisted us through every minute detail, making an otherwise overwhelming process actually enjoyable. Her extensive knowledge of construction and finishing materials, her designer aesthetics and amazing taste, her well organized design process and professionalism was a perfect fit for our family. I loved her warmth and humour as well. We highly recommend her and The Spotted Frog for anyone that wants a beautiful and functional space that you'll be proud of!

We couldn’t be happier with our kitchen renovation and would highly recommend our designer Huong from The Spotted Frog Furniture Co. Huong is patient and firm and knows us now better than we know ourselves! She reigned me in a few times and pushed us out of our comfort zone many times to deliver an exceptional new kitchen layout and design for our family’s needs. She first spent the time to understand these needs, providing just enough options and variety so we could make our best choices. Working with Huong made a stressful renovation fun, (fairly) easy and ultimately very rewarding! She instilled confidence, trust and reassurance every step of the way.

Huong from The Spotted Frog brought our dreams of a sophisticated, romantic primary bathroom come to life. From the start to finish, Huong was available and enthusiastic and helped us pivot through supply issues. Her design skills are inspiring and I can’t wait to enlist in her services again for the next project!

This is our second project with the spotted frog. We used their service six years ago for the renovation of our previous house. We purchased our new place last year, and without hesitation, we went back to them again for this project. Huong is a delight to work with. She pays attention to the every detail. She is trustworthy and inspiring to work with. We’d recommend her to anyone and everyone.

We own an older Condo and we wanted to update our master bathroom. We had a poor experience with a previous designer, so we were apprehensive about undertaking another project. Fortunately, we met with Huong and we were very pleasantly surprised how easy it was to work with her. She exceeded our expectations. Huong created a very positive design experience for us; which became the foundation for a great remodel. Huong is very personable, reliable, knowledgeable, understanding, professional and honest. She was attentive to my husband's and my ideas and desires for the bathroom design. She was collaborative and respectful of our design choices and provided appropriate alternatives and options to insure we obtained the look we wanted. She was able to take what we thought were 'problems' and refashioned them into beautiful solutions. She regularly communicated with us throughout the project and insured we were always well informed. She provided us with very professional design materials, timelines, drawings and paperwork. We were impressed with her impeccable attention to detail and how hard she worked to insure our design needs were met. We are very happy with the results of the remodel and we love our bathroom. Overall, We would highly recommend Huong's services and we would hire her again if we had a future project.

I have used Huong and the Spotted Frog Design team on 3 separate projects. Most recently is our 100 year old character home renovation. The other two renovations consisted of a 70’s home and a early 2000’s craftman style house. For each project Huong worked with us to understand what our goal is for the renovation. She gets a sense of what style and look we were aiming to achieve. She also worked with us to understand the objective and function for each room. With style and function in mind, Huong presented different design options utilizing materials suited for our budget. Huong is our go to person for anything interior design related. We are constantly tapping into her knowledge and experience in not only design but home builds and renovations. We couldn’t be happier with the results and definitely would recommend to anyone looking for an interior designer.
