Gold stars all around for Laura Kulas and the entire Tiffany Brooks team! After two frustrating years trying to design my kitchen/living room/dining room space on my own and with the assistance of online design firms, I finally gave in and hired a true professional. Despite the fact that I couldn't verbalize the exact style that I was going for (does industrial chic urban bohemian glam count??), Laura immediately got it. She internalized all of my needs and desires (which were equivalent to a closet full of dresses with pockets), challenged me on some areas where my preconceived design notions were not jiving with my style, and proposed a suite of furniture and art pieces that were right out of my dreams. Then came the installation day... and WOW!!! It's not just about the furniture and art, but it's how Laura put all the pieces together, accented with small touches that I couldn't have dreamed of (fresh florals, lemons and cranberries! jars of matches to light the candles! coasters and coffee table books galore!) that tied it all together to make it a truly beautiful and personalized design. You can't go wrong with Laura and the Tiffany Brooks team!!

Tiffany and her team are amazing! They really listen to every detail on your thoughts about the space and make sure that their designs reflect you and your preferences. They show up prepared to start working right away and have recommendations right after the first meeting. They are a team I recommend to all my friends and look forward to working with more and more in the future!

She allowed us the freedom to be involved in the areas of the project we enjoyed and coordinated many of the details that were burdensome (less fun!). From kitchen design, to paint color, floor color, every lighting fixture and hardware - Laura was with us through it all. Her superior listening and observation skills resulted in creating a home that reflects our family! Laura had to learn our sense of style without the benefit of seeing our home and its belonging (damaged due to a house fire). Amazing! She was respectful of our budget and always open and honest in her communication. In the end, our home is better than we could have imagined! Laura Kulas at Tiffany Brooks Interiors was a true pleasure to work with! Laura Kulis helped my daughter and me redecorate my daughter's room. Not only was Laura a fantastic and talented designer, helping us pick out fabrics and a palette that my daughter loves, she is also a very patient teacher. Sara and I learned a lot about choosing colors and textures while exploring materials that didn't over-extend our budget. Finally, Laura was professional and thorough when one of the vendors couldn't deliver a re-upholstered chair on time. Laura went out of her way to communicate the delay and to rectify the obstacles. She delivered the chair personally on her day off! Great experience all the way around.

Love, Love, Love Tiffany Brooks Interiors! Tiffany and her team, Laura and Kath were in constant communication with me on updates, choices and status. I am thrilled with the way our living and family room turned out! After a number of failed attempts in selecting paint colors and larger sofa sectionals that just didn't work out my husband and I decided it would cost us less to have a professional come in and help us navigate making the space ideal for our family. We are very happy with the modern and sophisticated space Tiffany helped create for us!

Tiffany is absolutely AMAZING!. My husband and I are in love with our new place and that is all due to Tiffany!! She was very patient while working with my husband and me as we have very different design preferences. She made it easy for us to pick out beautiful colors/items that we both loved. I don't know what we would've done without her. She has terrific style and a great personality (very friendly and sweet). We really trusted her and so thrilled that we did. Tiffany Brooks is a genius. Her eye for color, texture, layer and style is second to none. She transformed my living room into a majestic welcoming oasis. People step inside my home and their mouths drop open. They don't want to leave. Now I don't want to leave. I showed pictures of my space to someone who teaches interior design at a major school and she started crying. When I first hired her, she spent a great amount of time helping me determine what I liked and my style. She explained everything upfront, timing, costs, quality, flow, and details. There were no surprises and she was kept me informed completely every step of the way. I felt completely in control but also amazed at the final result. Her process is so straightforward and clear, you basically pay for her hours and pay for your furniture and accessories. In the end, my husband and I liked the living room so much that we have hired her to complete the kitchen, bedroom, and office. I am so happy with the final result. Tiffany can take whatever space, size, configuration you have and turn it into something outstanding. I don't care if you are an interior designer, she can recreate your space and make it incredible!!! And just to give you sneak peek at the custom bed she got for me, let's just say that people stop in their tracks when they walk in my bedroom and they say, "Oh My Gosh". It is absolutely breathtaking.

I looked into hiring a designer in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, and upon investigating, ultimately, decided to hire Tiffany Brooks Interiors, after an initial consultation with her, conducted at my home. Upon our initial meeting she was super friendly, down to earth, and very communicative. I showed her the Master Bedroom, which after living in our house for a decade hadn't even been painted. I told her that I wanted a beautiful Master Bedroom. We moved forward on the contract, which was straight forward, and easy to understand. Her rate structure, basically, consists of design time hours + purchase & shipping of merchandise used in decorating bedroom. You can either use your own contractors, or she can recommend some for any architectural/construction work. Ultimately, this was a smooth process from start to finish. She meets with her clients to completely immerse herself in what kind of style you have, and asks you a lot of questions to try and get to know your personality. She also asks you to create a Pinterest board to give her ideas about things you like or dislike. After all this takes place, she starts drawing up floor plans, and design schemes to show you. We picked the floor plan we liked the best, based on our bedroom size. Then she takes pictures, and measurements of the existing space to find pieces that fit into those spaces. She uploaded pieces of furniture (we already had a beautiful king bed which Tiffany incorporated into our design)...dressers, bookshelves, chairs, end tables, mirrors, lighting, wall paper, curtains, etc onto a computer software called Wecora. We were able to like or dislike items she posted based off our preferences. She picked out a lot of stuff we really liked, some we disliked, but she has a great eye. Then she came up with a complete printed out rendering, very close to the ultimate design installation. The day I saw it posted to her Facebook page, I admired it so greatly, but had no idea it was meant for me. Ultimately, when I realized it was meant for me, I teared up. We moved forward on the architecture/construction portion (molding, paint, electrical, lighting, & wall paper). Lastly, we scheduled the installation day for the final finishing touches (furniture, rug, mirrors, vases, pictures & frames, upholstered chairs, curtains & rods, bedding & pillows, etc). The best part about it the whole installation day was Tiffany and Dante did it all from start to finish, and then did the big reveal at the end. She surprised me with 2 original pieces of art that she painted herself, that I absolutely loved. All of this brought me to tears again...very happy tears. My husband came home later in the day, and saw what they had created...he was blown away at how cozy, warm, beautiful and inviting she had turned our room into. It was a pleasure to work with her team, they were all super friendly. They also have a beautiful design studio in downtown Grayslake that is decorated with a lot of items that you can purchase. I thoroughly enjoyed the process with Tiffany and Dante, and will be using them again. She is not only a beautiful artist, & designer, but a beautiful person too.

Tiffany is a terrific designer to work with. She has amazing taste and was able to blend my husband's tastes and mine in a way in which we both love our new family room. She listens well, has great ideas and knows what will work (and won't work) in your space. An added plus, is her wonderful husband Dante who assists her in the design projects.

It is a joy for me to review Tiffany! Although I found her on houzz, not HGTV, I can definitely appreciate why she was bestowed with winning next Design Star....and you will, too, if you hire her. Her business is aptly named YouandYourDecor, and I can vouch that she takes that title seriously. She spent several hours with me in advance of starting my project (my great room), in order to determine and gain a sense of who I am, how I live, what I wanted to achieve, my likes/dislikes, etc. and last, but certainly not least, my budget constraints. Not only did she not try to impose her taste on me, but to this day (6 months after meeting her), I still don't even know what her personal design affinity is! Furthermore, to her credit as a true professional, she admitted that I would be her first client that leans toward country French and not modern or contemporary. I admire that she "confessed" this fact immediately and it still never deterred me from wanting to hire her and know with confidence that she would absolutely deliver the room I want....and I was right! Following are more reasons why I happily sing Tiffany's praises: 1. She is fun to be with and has a great smile and a very upbeat, optimistic personality. Treats me and everyone else with respect. You spend a lot of time together so this is more important than it may seem! 2. She responds in a timely manner to emails and voice messages 3. Project was completed by the date I requested 4. Upon initially seeing my space and furniture, she was very receptive to keeping certain pieces I loved and, equally impressive, didn't want to eliminate another piece solely and simply because it was very inexpensive. 5. When I did express unhappiness with the way something was installed she understood, was quick to rectify the issue and never made me feel as if I was unreasonable or wrong. 6. Never tried to talk me into purchasing anything I didn't like or want and absolutely respected my budget 7. Unlike most designers, Tiffany didn't object when I purchased 2 items I found on the internet (with her prior approval, of course).,although this meant she didn't get a percentage of these pieces! Even more amazing, when one was delivered damaged she still took care of getting it boxed up and arranging for the return....now that's going above and beyond (but normal for Tiffany)!! 8. Last but not least.....I LOVE MY ROOM!! I am only sad that now that it's finished I don't get to see her anymore.

Tiffany Brooks is a phenomenal interior designer who delivers on an awe-inspiring vision that comes to life in ways unimaginable. I am most impressed with Tiffany's ability to take her own unique style and tastes and use those in complement with and further inspiration of the client's style and tastes. She approached this project as the true expert that she is with clear ideas and suggestions, but she also approached the project as a partner who is open to exploring other ideas and ensuring that she is delivering a home that the client will be overjoyed to live in. She achieved all of that in working with me. My home has been complete since November 2014, and I still walk into my home in absolute amazement and awe that I live here! It is my dream home! Additionally, and importantly, Tiffany delivered a project plan, with supporting visuals for each of the rooms, and met the desired completion date as well as delivered a little under budget!

Tiffany's versatility is second to none. I went to Tiffany to get her advice on styling dorm rooms and she delivered! Small space design can be SUCH a challenge, and Tiffany struck the right balance between function and fabulous! Not only did she maximize the space, but the budget. My living and dinning room was a blank cream space. I loved my furniture but struggled with accessories and was afraid of color. That all changed when I met Tiffany. Tiffany designed our basement for us. She was fabulous. She took the time to understand our tastes and mold the design appropriately. She was always available and communicated with us throughout the project. The finished project was absolutely better than we could have imagined!

Tiffany was very helpful in the decorating process of our home. I hired Tiffany to do my basement. She had blue prints drawn up, found a contractor and really nailed my style.
