A year ago when I decided to remodel my new house I was afraid to work with an interior designer. I'm not necessarily an easy client. I like to be part of the entire process and my style is far away from minimalistic. But one busy morning I crossed paths with Sue-Jolie from Tres Jolie Maison and we connected immediately. She was able to translate my ideas into a realistic plan and we decide to work step by step so I would feel more comfortable with my budget. She has excellent taste and resources. She listened carefully to my thoughts and when necessary she also led me in different directions that provided amazing solutions. I totally adore every aspect of our work together. Choosing so many things was not overwhelming because Sue-Jolie has the best attitude, and the entire process feels professional and fun. At the end we conquered our task. Wallcoverings, draperies, pillows, custom bedding, upholstered furniture and the purchase of new exquisite pieces all to give more character to my house. We even upholstered the walls of my dining room! I should say the skilled workers and subcontractors Tres Jolie Maison works with were also a pleasure. Finally, I say that Sue-Jolie understands space and its functions (we have 3 kids under 4y/o), has a creative eye and brings attention to every detail all while she puts herself into your shoes and taking care of your budget carefully. We used TJM for our office at the historic Electric Tower in the heart of downtown Buffalo and couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. The design team (Sue-Jolie and Tim) earned every bit of our respect and gratitude with not only their wonderful design for our space, but also their diligence and high standards. We had nothing to worry about and could trust them to do the job superbly. They met every expectation and mediated between the contractors and the towers lease/maintenance agents to save us the headache of having to do so ourselves. I have done work for Tres Jolie Maison Inc for years. Tim and Sue work great as a team and know what works and looks the best for each project. Every project I have done for them is unique and selected with the client in mind. I have even done jobs for them when they are 2,000 miles away, and the jobs look better than those which have designers in the same town. After completing several dozen high end custom jobs with Sue J. we are more than confident in her trade knowledge and project follow thru. Sue does an great job of establishing an achievable expectation level with the customer. Sue and Tim hand hold the customer from start to finish to be sure the expectation level is met.
