I could never have imagined I would be able to work with an amazing designer like Tres on my limited budget but I reached out via email to see if she would be willing to consult me on a kitchen and living room remodel for my home In Seattle and that was the beginning of a wonderful experience! We worked via phone and email and Tres responded carefully and thoughtfully to my questions and design dilemmas. We were very fortunate to find Tres McKinney to help us with the remodeling and design project of our Master Bathroom. Tres is very personable, charming, and always made herself available to answer questions. At our first meeting she quickly learned about our style and she incorporated it into the project. Tres has a wonderful eye for design and colors; in her design, she used the picture rail to define the Gable Roof line, wallpaper and tile molding to wrap around the wall. We could not have been more pleased with her tasteful and beautiful work. She is a talented designer. Her work is exquisite. She has made our vision come true. We will continue to work with Tres on our next project which is the Kitchen

Tres completely redecorated our 3-bedroom house. It took 5 months and cost $$$$$ but it was worth it. Tres listens. She has great taste and judgment. She is adaptable and unflappable. She knows the best suppliers and contractors. She is a pleasure to work with. I have dealt with perhaps a dozen other decorators in the past, and rate her as #1.

I met Tres at a professional conclave of designers and was immediately impressed by her graciousness and charm. One would think this was typical of a service professional but it unfortunately happens to be the exception. When I inquired further I saw what comfortable, elegant and inviting spaces she created and knew that I wanted to collaborate with her on future projects. We're in the middle of a complicated project for a client right now and I'm learning to emulate her patience in overcoming all sorts of obstacles from the site, the city and a cautious client. She's leading it all like a maestro in front of an orchestra - perfectly harmonious. This is great fun. Tres McKinney worked wonders for my 1460 square foot (2 bedroom / 1 bath / dining room / living room) Marina condo. She took the time to learn about my style and persona and presented me with multiple options that were spot on with what I was looking for. I couldn't be happier with the end result. I have new living room furniture, light fixtures, plants, fireplace screen/tools, full guest bedroom redesign and a significant upgrade to my master bedroom.
