Urban Cottage

We have collaborated with Urban Cottage on several remodeling and new construction projects. The most recent oceanfront remodeling project we completed in Corolla exceeded our clients' expectations. Interior design and all of the selections inspired by coastal theme (from paint colors to furniture) speak for themselves.

This design center is my favorite place in the world! Working with Amy is a dream, she makes an effort to really understand what her client is looking for. Another very important skill that she offered to me and my family is leading us toward or away from items that might not hold up in our family/animal friendly home. I have worked with designers for a few years now and have found that Amy Crisler at Urban Cottage has been the easiest to work with. I have had the pleasure of working with Amy twice on our oceanfront home in Pine Island. She was respectful of our ideas and worked well with our builder. Her deadlines were met and the budget was on target. She also took the time to inspect every piece of furniture that was delivered to the storage facility before the house was finished. Her team that worked with her on the day we moved in the house was amazing also. They worked so hard setting up the kitchen and 8 bedrooms. Besides helping us pick out the furniture and rugs, we had her help us with all bedding, linens and towels. By the end of the two days we had a beautiful and comfortable cottage style beach front home. It's been a year now and I am still amazed on how stunning the house looks inside! Amy led us through the design process from construction to completion! She had a good working relationship with our contractor and the other tradesmen. She was extremely professional and worked within our budget and timeline. From the lighting to the flooring to the kitchen to the furniture, our home turned out beautifully! Amy and her team from Urban Cottage designed my house from the ground up. She made many significant improvements from the initial design and the results were nothing short of spectacular. This is the third house I have done with her, but the first original construction project. She is now re-doing an older project and breathing new life into that as well. Everyone that walks in raves, raves, raves. Everywhere you look there is some other thoughtful detail. Our builder loved working with her, too. She worked hard to keep us on budget and literally worked around the clock to get us finished by deadline. Her shop is extremely popular as well....just can't say enough good things!
