Vee Merklen Inc. is a full-service residential interior design firm based in Delray Beach, FL, assisting clients with a wide range of challenges including, selection of architectural details and finishes, collaborating with architects and builders, decorating a functional beautiful space with furniture, fabrics, accessories, and creating custom pieces tailor-made for your living space. ABOUT VEE VEE MERKLEN, PRINCIPAL DESIGNER AND FOUNDER Vee grew up between the bustling cities of Marseille, France and Madrid, Spain. Her parents, who in earlier years lived in Morocco, maintained extraordinary collections of antiques, artifacts, and textiles that fascinated her as a young girl, and later influenced her design sensibility. She eventually rooted here in Florida, drawn to the vibrant sunshine and lush landscapes. She has an Interior Design degree and over 15 years in the industry. My husband and I moved from California to Delray Beach Florida about a year ago. We loved the location of our new home but wanted to give it a complete makeover. This involved tearing down walls and relocating the entire kitchen and common living space. It was a daunting project, considering that we were still living in CA at the beginning of the design phase. I found Vee through my favorite home design site houzz.com. After interviewing 3 designers, my husband and I decided to go with Vee. Her contemporary-organic, elegant yet simple design approach that's rooted in her French background strongly aligned with our taste and vision. We signed the design agreement after a few zoom meetings. Our entire project from design to passing the final city inspection lasted about 10 months. From multiple design revisions to visiting vendors, site inspections and quality control, Vee and her project manager Tony have demonstrated great professionalism, integrity and true care for their clients. There were hiccups along the way, and they were always there for us during stressful times. We were very happy with how the house/design turned out. And we are grateful that Vee and Tony guided us through this process. Highly recommended.

We do not make decisions easily, we took our time interviewing numerous designers in the Palm Beach area, when we meet with Vee and her team we knew she was the right one for us. From the start she listened to our requirements and guided us through the design process. We are not visual people but Vee was able to show us in the design presentations exactly what each room was going to look like. We are extremely happy with the outcome of our design and will certainly recommend Vee Merklen to everyone who is looking for an interior designer or to remodel their homes. We enlisted Vee's services to help us with a couple areas of our house that needed updating: our living-dining area & our screened-in porch. We couldn't be happier with the results! Her design suggestions completely transformed these spaces and unified the whole feel of the house in addition to creating much needed entertaining space. She somehow managed to create such a feeling of spaciousness in our small screened porch by linking it with the exterior garden through color choices that it has become our favorite room of the house. She was attentive to our input and worked within our budget and provided lots of options to choose from, and her partner Tony was great with communications and updates throughout the process. We highly recommend their services!

Vee did an amazing job designing and renovating our master bedroom, bath, closet and 2 home offices. I searched for a designer for over 2 years until I gratefully found Vee on Houzz. We were looking for "Peace" in these rooms and she nailed it! Vee has a very unique, kind and honest character. She is a very classy young woman, who embraces a unique flair using an impeccable palate of color and textures. We are so excited and beyond pleased with her work! Vee and her husband Tony were an absolute pleasure to work with. Billing was organized and there were no surprises!! We will definitely use Vee for the rest of our house soon.

Our experience working with Vee Merklen was fabulous from the first day she met with us at our home to discuss our style preferences, to the day the installation was complete. First, she shared her vision of our new interior with design boards, sample fabrics & wallcoverings, and photo renditions. She then masterfully turned that vision into reality by sourcing unique high-quality furnishings, lighting, and accessories, coordinating their delivery and installation, and providing direct supervision of all contractor work. We couldn’t be happier with our new interior design and are very thankful for the opportunity to work with Vee. She made the entire process easy, exciting, and extremely gratifying.

Words do not depict how thrilled we are with Vee and her work. She turned our home into photos right out of Architectural Digest. It looks curated and pieced together with thoughtful intention versus cookie cutter, trendy and fussy. The home was modern and a bit sterile, but she warmed up the space with natural wood tones and textures and brought in pieces from different countries and various artists (while staying within our budget). She created a comfortable and sexy, subtle elegance we could not have possibly achieved if we had done the design work ourselves. We also appreciated that every person she had come in the house to do any work was professional and on time. Vee Merklen is a pro. Hiring her was undoubtedly the best decision we made after buying our house because she turned it into our dream home.

Vee was is a true Delight to work with, She made my experience so Special. It was clearly evident to me that she is a true Professional Interior Designer, her amazing eclectic style, her keen eye for details was uncanny. I could quickly tell she has lived in Europe and has that Chic & Classy sense of Style. She quickly understood my vision, and she actually surpassed my expectations !!! It was such fun choosing paint colors, fabrics, furniture & accessories, she made it seem so effortless, I witnessed everything taking place in such a quick & timely manner. I can’t wait to get home and organize dinner parties to share my beautiful new Oasis with Loved ones. I would recommend Vee in a heartbeat!!!

Vee is the best! I've worked with her on my kitchen remodeling, living room decor, kids room remodel and half bath remodel and not ONE complaint. She is so easy to work with, comes prepared with many ideas and thinks outside of the box. Its been 6 years since we remodeled my kitchen and I'm still so grateful for her ideas. A bar height table in the kitchen that we use every single day. Before we'd have to walk to another room into the dining area that was not as convenient. She painted a chalkboard in the kitchen as well that I use everyday to keep track of my 3 boys busy schedules. She comes with a box of all her suggested ideas on paint, design sketches and products. I'd say the best part is she mixes high end pieces with very affordable pieces. Hire her, you will not be disappointed!
