Ventus Design has exceeded our expectations. From their initial presentation to their proposed design options they made a large project so much easier to address. They steered us not only through the design aspects and furniture selections but were very mindful of our current living needs, ie accessibility, safety, comfort, ease and flow of movement, lighting, and privacy. Despite the challenges each project faces, their professionalism made all the difference. They were on top of each and every detail. Their knowledge of the industry allowed us to view the myriad of options available thereby insuring that we stayed within our budget. We would highly recommend Ventus Design to anyone looking for interior design services.

Reiko Lewis from Ventus design is a professional. She is extremely accommodating to all her clients and very honest to all her client. She is a excellent designer, I know because I seen all of her works. I recommend all my clients to Reiko Lewis because I trust her. In this business trust is everything.

We hired Ventus to design a few rooms in our Kailua home as it seemed the press about her was positive - moral of the story, do not believe everything you read. Ventus' designer does have good sense, but it might only be limited to a narrow range of design. Her proposals, which often times looked like either her assistant had done them without her oversight or confirmation OR were overly reliant on one or two expensive furniture brands (Holly Hunt, Baker, Frau Frau) were all either below spec in thinking of our home or above (far above!) the budget we agreed with her at the start of the project. In the end, we ended up following her advice on lighting in two places and one table in one room. The cost paid-to-date for design service was $16,000 - above the original estimate even though none of her proposals met the agreed criteria and our preferences. She says this is a discount and she usually charges even more... She refused to complete the work which was to have included finishes like cushions, living room wall art, etc. In addition, the one piece of furniture ordered through her from Holly Hunt arrived damaged. It was left outside our doorstep by a forklift with no un-crating service - which she could have arranged! The table top alone weighed more than 300 pounds and it had a base too. After a lot of time un-crating it, found that it was damaged. Instead of quickly remedying the situation, she exacerbated and prolonged resolution - even once blaming it on us being busy and out of town on business. Finally, Holly Hunt came to take the table away for a fix as it was sized wrong from the start it turns out (!). But it never seemed that Ventus was on our side in resolving this issue and getting our table back. Very unfortunate and negative experience which she did not help resolve. If you need someone to design a room or a condominium I think she might be good in some cases and for some looks. I would not recommend her for a whole home or even a large part of a home.

Ms. Reiko Lewis has represented herself incredibly well within our facility on projects for homeowners providing different levels of interior design services. She possesses a professional attitude to coordinating with building management (following management association’s guidelines, coordination of her schedule and prompt replies to facility management related to construction issues). I have seen many interior designers’ work in the building but thought that it is very professionally and beautifully done under many restrictions of existing conditions. I am not the owner but you liked the design!

We purchased a luxury condominium in Gold Coast, high-end residential area over looking Diamond Head, and requested them to help for the renovations. Existing condition only has a tiny shower room and there was no tub in the bathroom. We requested to only have a tub built but Ventus came up with a brilliant plan to include both a tub and a shower which exceeded our expectations of what could be done for the room. Most of the budget went into the bathroom renovations but other upgrades included new lighting fixture additions and upgrades, including new kitchen appliances, and new living/dining room furniture, which were all done around the budgeted goal. We were surprised to see the renovation process in Honolulu being so complicated and time consuming especially with the permitting process. Also discovered some new findings by opening the wall. It takes much more time to do such renovations in Honolulu compared with Japanese standards. Ventus Design helped guide us patiently through the process with sincere instructions. The rooms came out very nicely and we love our new spa like bathroom! ダイヤモンドヘッドを望む高級地域、ゴールドコーストの高級コンドミニアムの改築をお願いしました。 購入した時には小さなシャワールームがあるだけで、バスタブが無かったのでバスタブをシャワーの替わりに入れてほしいとお願いしましたが、タブとシャワーの両方を入れてくださるプランを考えて下さいました。 大方の予算はバスルームの改造費用となりましたが、心配しておりましたすべてのお部屋の照明のアップグレード, キッチンの電化製品の取り換え、リビングダイニングの家具もほぼ予算のなかで収まりました。 ホノルルのコンドミニアムの改築は予想外のことや許可申請でも色々大変なことが多く、日本からみると時間がかかり大変でしたが、ヴェンタスデザインは根気よく丁寧に作業をしてくださいました。お部屋も素敵にしあがり、スパの雰囲気のあるバスルームもきにいっております。

Ventus Design provided interior design services for anew condominium in Honolulu. This included design and installation of furniture, lighti fixture and draperies. Ventus dealt effectively with great care and dedications. Work was professional and the principals and her staff members showed high quality care and professionalism. ハワイの新築高級コンドミニアムの家具、照明灯、カーテン等を依頼しました。 日本に住んでいるため、メールのやりとりだけでほとんどがまかせっきりでしたが、入居して部屋を見たら期待以上の出来で、このコンドミニアムにぴったりのすてきな空間になっていました。

Reiko Lewis did a great job on behalf of my wife and me. She is first of all highly professional and a top interior designer with a gifted eye for colors. She is honest, reliable, diligent, hard-working, budget conscious, attentive and faithful to her contract and to modifications over the course of the job.

Ventus Design provided interior design services for a new condominium in Honolulu. This included design and installation of built-in storage (walk-in closet, additional storage in hallways, and other cabinetry), curtains, room-specific lighting, additional water fixtures, and furniture for living, dining and bedrooms. Services spanned almost a year and Ventus dealt effectively with all contractors, permit applications, building regulations, multiple furniture suppliers, delivery of furniture and supplies, and monitoring of installation. Work was professional in all respects and the principals always showed care and a desire to provide a high quality completed product.
