Where do I even begin?! This is the second project that I have worked on with Kelly. This one however, was very special to my husband and I. Throughout an 18 month process we renovated my husbands family home from 1902. Our previous project was new construction. This project was a whole different animal. We gutted the entire home down to the studs, added an addition and built a She Shed in the back yard. Having worked with Kelly before I brought her in right away in the planning stage because I knew she had the expertise. I am so glad that we did because she helped us with the overall layout and design of the home to help open it up but not loose the charm. We could not make this home look like a new construction home we had to keep elements of what was however, modernize it. We went out to many second hand shops, estate sales etc. to find the perfect pieces to give each room a special touch. Throughout the process there were many tweaks made as we continued to peel back the layers of the past of the home and I am not even sure what design number we ended up on! Kelly was extremely professional and throughout this process she became a dear friend. She put her heart in soul into this house and we feel blessed that we got to work on another successful project. We have worked with Kelly for over 20 years. She has helped us on a number of different projects including a basement remodel, family room refresh, kitchen remodel and our front foyer refresh. Kelly has taken the time to learn our style and takes the time to determine what we are trying to achieve while doing it in a way that is cost conscious which includes trying to reuse or refresh items we already have. She has always pushed us to consider colors and products that we would not have thought on our own. She is great in how she ties our rooms together. My husband and I recently built a new home. I had done some extensive remodels to a home in the past however, never built one from the ground up. I was reluctant at first to even consider hiring an interior designer. I thought that I could handle it just like I had done in the past. On the advice of my mom who had built a home in the past, she advised that I at least consider and meet with one to discuss our upcoming project. I was given Kelly's name by my mom's interior designer because at the time she was to busy to take on any more clients. I set up a meeting with Kelly to see if this was something I was even interested in doing. Within 5 minutes into our meeting I knew that she was the person that I wanted to work with on putting those special touches into our new home. I was absolutely impressed from the start. You could tell that her business was truly her passion and she new exactly what she was talking about. All I can say is that this was one of the best decisions that I made in our whole home building process. Kelly made our new house truly our new home. She listened to what was important to us in a color palate and pieces of furniture that I wanted to reuse to make sure we could incorporate them into our new space. She showed me things that I never would have picked out and now these features are our favorite design pieces of our new home. I would recommend Kelly to anyone that wants a true partner in designing their new home or space. I wish that more people today would have this much passion in the work that they do. I have worked with Kelly for about 5 years, every time she comes in with a project she always has new ideas. She always wants each project to be unique and different and very sophisticated. Her design is very detailed in every way, every piece of the design is very well thought out to make the design spectacular! I hired Vyolette Design Consultants to do a total remodel of my 45 year old condo. It started with a consult with the owner Ms. Burns. She worked very hard and came up with some unique ideas which she presented to me I a professional manner. Once we came up with a game plan her team of experienced professionals came in to do the work, which was done in a timely manner. Ms. Burns did an exceptional job of keeping things going. She was on top of things and turned my condo into what some have said "looks like a $250,000 condo. It was well worth it.

Every time I walk through the doors of Trattoria di Carlo located in Oak Creek, I feel like I stepped into a restaurant in Italy. Trattoria di Carlo provides a warm rich dining experience created by the wine country color palette. The décor resembles Italian cuisine...simple with a few quality ingredients. For a romantic dinner by candlelight, opt for a private booth in the corner. As your dining experience comes to an end, look up at the spectacular wavy ceiling and enjoy a Mocha Italia. The design concept for Trattoria di Carlo is magnifico!

My working relationship started with Vyolette Design Consulting 15 years ago. I have been in business for nearing 30 years as an expert in wallpaper installation. We were able to immediately connect & have a mutual respect for our individual skills. I have worked with many designers over the last 30 years, and have observed the skillful eye Kelly has when creating a space. None like I have ever experienced. I often scratch my head wondering how and why this particular wall covering will work within a particular space. As I see the project unfold, I smile & suddenly understand that the thought process Kelly possesses is a true art. She introduced me to new designs in wall coverings, and most importantly sets the trends and always forecasts for upcoming trends as well. Any designer can select wallpaper, although Kelly can take that room to the highest level. That is a true skill. I admire her for her confidence and ability to work on all types & styles of projects and has a versatility in designing that is very broad. Every job, I learn something new, even after 30 years in the industry. I always look forward to what space she will be creating next. I believe Kelly is one of the most talented designers I have worked with.

After purchasing a cookie cutter condo in 2008 I knew that I wanted to remodel it. The 875 square foot unit had the original plastic, black molding along the floors. White standard appliances came with the condo which had been a rental prior to my purchasing it. Beige laminate counter tops were also standard. I was offered packages of upgrades by the developer, but wanted a more personal, guided venture through the remodel. I also wanted an archway built between the dining room and bathroom so that guests wouldn't have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. After attending a Home & Garden Show in West Allis, WI I received one interior design referral. I knew she wasn't the one. Then, after speaking to a customer where I worked I was referred to Steinkellner's Paint and Wallpaper in Wauwatosa, WI. The owner, Mary and a student at Mt. Mary's both told me about Kelly Neuman- Burns, a local interior decorator. It took a few weeks for Kelly and I to get together. TBC

As someone who has always done my own interior design and whose home has been featured in national publications, I wasn't sure that I could benefit from professional design help. We were building a new home and needed to make many choices. Kelly listened to our likes, 'got us' and knocked it out of the park! She has everything that one could hope for in a designer and those skills are enhanced by unique creativity. She exceeds all expectations! The outcome on our project was far superior to anything I could have imagined on my own. Entirely a wonderful experience.
