An excellent designer, Wendy Duryrea is able to take your ideas and bring them into actuality. She is very versatile. I've worked with her on both a traditional Connecticut house and a modern New York City apartment and have been very pleased in both cases. She's wonderful to work with.

We have had the pleasure of working with Wendy on several home projects. Wendy first completely re-made a master bedroom, including designing decorative/storage built-ins and fireplace surround, and we were thrilled. We then asked Wendy to re-make a family room/kitchen, then recovered several pieces to update a sunroom, and recently she advised us on a basement renovation. Wendy is responsive to our ideas and schedule, practical in terms of budget and use of space, talented with scale, color, and architectural details, and a true professional in every way. We have recommended her to others, with great feedback.

Realizing the scope of our project would encompass almost every floor in the house we decided to hire a professional interior decorator. I had seen W.D. Interior’s work and loved how timeless the design was, as well as her attention to detail. Wendy Duryea did an amazing job of gently pushing me out of my comfort zone, all the while listening to what we were looking for in an overall design. She helped us achieve a timeless and beautiful “makeover” for our home that is reflective of our personalities. Not only are the results even better than we imagined, but she was also very conscientious of staying with in our budget. We are thrilled with the results!

Wendy has decorated two homes for me and is presently working with me to "freshen-up" one of them. She supervised the total gut renovation of our apartment working with the architect and contractor.She is organized, very easy to work with and has great follow through. She is flexible and willing to provide various options having to do with both design and cost.During the total renovation and rebuilding of our apartment she helped guide the architect and contractor to make sure that our specific needs were incorporated which made our work with both the architect and contractor easier. She is very knowledgeable about different design styles and is respectful of both project budget and actual cost.She is also very practical in her approach and I have found that her design ideas as well as choices really worked well for us and did not become dated after a few years.. She has an excellent list of artisans and other providers that she uses to complete work. At various times I have also gone shopping with her at showrooms for fabric and furniture and she is skilled and efficient in these endeavors as well. In conclusion I enjoy working with Wendy and would continue to use her help in all my decorating /renovating projects.

I have worked with W.D. Interiors on several projects over the last 15 years, including the interior furnishings of our first house, the complete renovation/ virtual tear down of a second antique house, and subsequent additions and renovations. WDI is highly knowledgeable and experienced not only in requisite design elements, color, fabrics, but also in construction considerations. The principal was a key go-to person for the general contractor and able quickly answer tricky construction/design issues which made for an efficient process. WDI is also highly resourceful, sensitive to budget constraints, efficient, and responsive. WDI has always been spot on in understanding our personal design preferences and has been able to offer well-edited product selections that make it easy for us to make decisions.
