West Village Interior

Kate was very thoughtful and was able to find pieces I wouldn’t have thought of or found. Cohesive design just as I imagined and a bit better! Highly recommend

I NOW HAVE MY DREAM BEDROOM! After sharing my mood board, I was matched with an interior designer who was a great fit for my vision and style. From the beginning, they took my feedback seriously and really listened to what I liked, as well as what I didn’t like. One thing I especially appreciated was their effort to keep the project within my budget while sourcing pieces for the space. They were thoughtful about finding options that fit both my style and what I was comfortable spending. I was provided with a 3D rendering of the room, and they were patient with making revisions to the design until it was perfect. Throughout the entire process, they were punctual for meetings, took detailed notes, and were incredibly responsive whenever I had questions or needed support. I felt heard and supported from start to finish, and the whole experience made transforming my bedroom feel much less overwhelming. I’m so happy with how everything came together and would definitely recommend working with them, especially if you want professional guidance while still making sure the space feels like you.

We had a really disappointing experience with West Village Interiors. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I genuinely wish I’d seen one like this before spending thousands of dollars and weeks on this project. The sales process was excellent. Our initial conversations gave us confidence that they understood what we needed: help moving a relatively small rental apartment project forward, sourcing a temporary wall, and some design that would make us feel more at home like paint, wallpaper, etc., and connecting us with a trusted GC or handyman to execute the work. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once the project began. The designer assigned to us consistently seemed to misunderstand or ignore our feedback. We would spend time explaining what we liked or didn’t like, only for the next presentation to include recommendations that were the exact opposite of what we’d discussed or only partially addressed our comments. Instead of making progress, we spent nearly all of our allotted design hours correcting work that should have reflected previous conversations. The main deliverable, renderings of the new design, were equally disappointing. West Village Interiors sent someone to measure our apartment so they could create accurate renderings, but many of the measurements were wrong. Those errors affected layouts, furniture sizing, and wall placement recommendations, making the renderings unreliable and forcing us to question every decision that followed. Everyone we interacted with was kind, responsive, and professional. Unfortunately, professionalism alone doesn’t justify the cost. In the end, we won’t be using any of the design work, and we’re left feeling like we wasted thousands of dollars on a service that failed to deliver even the fundamentals. We walked away with no usable design, no trusted contractor recommendation, and a project that is essentially back at square one. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and based on what we received, I would not recommend West Village Interiors.

West Village Interior was great to work with throughout the design process. The team helped us think through layout options, materials, and feasibility, and provided clear guidance as we moved toward execution. Kate (my designer) was a wonderful partner through it all. Communication was thoughtful and responsive, and the design direction always felt intentional and considered our particular use cases. We appreciated the structure and clarity they brought to a complex project and would recommend them to anyone looking for design support and coordination :)

Working with WVI was a huge success! I needed help redesigning with my living room and they transformed it from a hodgepodge of random pieces to an incredible space that I’ve received so many compliments for! My apartment truly feels like a home now and I can’t wait to work with them again on other projects

I had such a great experience working with Kim on decorating my new apartment. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. Kim brought so many great ideas to the table, but what I appreciated most was how she really listened to our input and made sure the final design reflected our style and needs. One note of feedback: the markup on the sourcing didn’t ultimately lead to any noticeable savings on items, which was a bit of a downside. That said, Kim’s design sense and attention to detail were excellent, and we’re really happy with the final result.

WVI helped us redesign our condo in Tribeca and did a great job. They were super thoughtful and came up with a design plan that fit the style my husband and I were looking for, while also being really cost effective. We had regular design calls and they put together 3D renderings that helped us envision our space and choose the furniture / décor. 10/10 will use the team for my next move as well! :)

My designer was awesome and very reliable! The service was perfect for helping me figure out my space and design needs. Everything was incredibly professional and exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely use this service for my future needs.

Great folks to work with, especially in terms of design options. Highly recommend for their service and how they worked with us.

The team was exceptional! Their ideas, creativity and utility made it easy for us to bring our ideas to life. We worked closely via text and email. Before, during and after our move-in they set clear guidelines. Our furniture arrived quickly and we were able to get much-needed support to create an amazing home that we otherwise would not have. Worth every penny - I would have paid more!

They have great curations for a myriad of styles!! Honestly, a great way to avoid the headache of trying to assemble the perfect ambiance yourself.

Extremely helpful and super easy to use the service. Way more professional than anyone else we’ve ever used.
