Our contractor suggested we hire a designer for the kitchen re-do project. Acting upon that we met with Paula Steinle, of Wickets Design and had an instant rapport. She is knowledgeable and highly professional and an overall joy to work with. The finished project showcases her talents beautifully. We are thrilled with the results.

The work of many builders and tradesmen rests on the skills and efforts of a talented designer. Paula Steinle is the talented designer who conceived of the plan for my remodel, skillfully done by Mangiantini Construction in 2016. Paula studied art and applied that theory as an executive consultant in the furniture industry. This background makes her the ideal designer because she can guide you from start to finish: from the plan of the space itself to the colorful finished product, complete with fixtures, furnishings, and lighting, she can do it all. You can depend on her to help you make wise choices that finish the rooms perfectly. She does not force her choices upon you but lets your house become an expression of your own personality. Paula’s work speaks for itself, as you can see in these photographs. She both initiates and completes the project: you can depend on her from first to last.

Paula is a fantastic design talent as well as an excellent resource for contractors and materials. We hired her to help us with our first kitchen remodel and couldn't have been happier. She had some wonderful ideas that we hadn't considered that really made a huge difference in the outcome. Overall, Paula is completely professional and punctual and very easy to work with. She was also very respectful of our budget and managed her time on our project accordingly. We will definitely be working with her again in the future!

My husband and I were extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Paula Steinle of Wickets Design. Last August we purchased a home in a great location in the town of Sonoma. The circa 1985 property was completely original with an awkward floor plan and outdated kitchen and baths.
