Debra is wonderful to work with and has outstanding taste. She helped us put the finishing touches on our kitchen and living room and we couldn't be happier with how everything ended up. Debra is incredibly flexible, a great sounding board and is full of incredible ideas. She is also wonderfully professional and showed me lots of options so I could remain well within my budget but still end up with a beautiful kitchen.

I bought a 1925 summer house on the North Shore of Massachusetts and hired Debra to oversee the interior design of the entire house, including renovation of the kitchen. Debra has 25 years or more of experience that translates into her terrific sense of design, space, and color. She is friendly, open and easy to work with. She listened to my ideas, but also helped stretch my imagination. She introduced me to many terrific resources with reasonable prices. She is very talented at combining antique and contemporary furniture and accessories. She is very organized, timely, and professional at all times. She is also very cognizant of keeping the project on budget. She was helpful in all areas: paint, window treatment, fabric, space design, accessorizing, furniture, rugs, etc. And, she made it all very fun. I continue to call on her whenever a new project arises. She is a gem.

I appreciate her willingness to always return phone calls and work with me with focused solutions and design ideas. She is detailed orientated and I would recommend her highly for any residential project.

Debra has a fantastic eye and is a wonderful resource. I first worked with Debra to reupholster an old chair that needed to be completely stripped. To say that it turned out beautifully would be an understatement -- Debra quickly understood my style and design ideas, and was able to suggest and then implement the redo of a piece of furniture that will last with me for many decades. She is prompt and helpful in fielding my (many) design questions since that project. I would highly recommend her as a resource for any design query or project.

Debra worked with me to re-decorate a guest bedroom in my home. She talked with me on a range of subjects and thereby gained good insight into my style. She asked what colors I liked, what sort of materials, whether I wanted to replace furniture or the rug. She was interested to see other rooms in the home that I particularly liked. She also let me know what was currently in style and how we could blend the old with the new. She provided many samples of wallpaper that were in the range of what I was looking for. When I thought that I needed a new rug she found the perfect complement to the room. I then decided to re-upholster a wing chair that was in another room, and again she came through with a number of possibilities. We talked about a number of possible styles for shades and went ahead with one that I had seen a photographed at the Ocean House. She also arranged for all the workmen that I needed for the painting and wallpaper, the upholstery, the shades and laying the new rug. She also gave me advice on other ways to finish off the room, all of which were right on target. Debra always took my schedule in consideration when setting up appointments and could not have been more enjoyable to be with. Good communication was never an issue. I plan to work with her on other projects in the home because this was such a good experience.
