ZWADA home Interiors & Design is a residential design studio, located in downtown Vancouver, founded in 2007 by Don Zwarych and Kyo Sada. While studio work forms the cornerstone of the business, ZWADA home also provides exquisitely crafted custom furniture, home furnishings and art, examples of which are showcased throughout our projects as an ever evolving exploration in design. The company’s vision was born out of a love for home and all that it encompasses. We believe homes should reflect the people who live in them. Like a great written work, great interiors tell a story. We offer comprehensive interior planning and consulting service as well as custom furniture, millwork and soft furnishings design. Whether you require advice on furnishing and decorating, or more complex planning and installation consultation for complete residential projects, we provide exceptional service. Our work involves a true collaboration between us and the client. Working with both local and international clients, whether it be a downtown high-rise condominium, country estate or urban loft, we approach each project with the same care and attention to detail. I am absolutely delighted to recommend Zwada Home for the custom project they did on the interior of our home. Don and Kyo are absolutely amazing to work with and bring a genuine warmth along with a wealth of experience, expertise and fresh ideas. They are brilliant and get to know you and how to bring that out in the design. I was interested in moving in a completely new direction with the interior design of my entire home and they fully leaned in, listened carefully and guided me along the way. There were decisions where I relied heavily on their input and I was so glad I did. My homes is beautiful and comfortable and I LOVE walking in the door every day. Don and Kyo have an impressive network of suppliers who clearly enjoy and respect working with them. They are honest and professional and at every step I was clear I was in good hands. I could not be happier with the results of working with Zwada Home. Don and Kyo are so lovely and I consider them friends. They absolutely deliver and take care of details and logistics that make the process exciting and fun. Without question I plan to work with them again and I highly recommend you choose Don and Kyo for any project you have. You will be glad you did!

Working with Don and Kyo of Zwada Design is a great experience, and we highly recommend them. By asking excellent questions they helped us see our space clearly – how it is in the present and how we want it to be in the future. Kyo and Don listen carefully, they pay attention to not only what we say but what they see in our current decorating choices. They are very careful to make sure we understand all the options and the pros and cons before making decisions. Don and Kyo make it happen, but we all play a part in this partnership. With their knowledgeable and skilled assistance, we are creating our best possible space. We are keeping and enjoying the furniture and décor items we value, re-homing items we no longer appreciate, and adding only new items that are useful to us and that pleases us. We are part-way through our renovation project, and we are very happy with the results. Our rooms are beautiful and give us pleasure. We found Don and Kyo by chance online, when we were looking for designers to help decorate our new home, which was over 7 years ago. We’ve relied on their professional services and keen aesthetics ever since, for all interior design aspects from flooring, lighting, paint/colour, furniture selections, artwork, room renovations, custom projects, etc. They do it all, and always with great care and attention to what you want done or are looking for, while offering suggestions from their own wealth of knowledge and experience being in the industry so many years. They designed our latest project, which included a feature wall with stone tiles and adjacent wood panelling, encompassing a modern electric fireplace we had purchased. They also added new track lighting which has lead to the amazing transformation of our living room space. We highly recommend Zwada Home, and can’t express enough how grateful we are to Kyo and Don for our beautiful home!

Don and Kyo helped me design my new home after a split from my ex. I moved into an empty house starting from scratch, with my three young children. Don and Kyo saw the urgency i had in getting beds for my kids and all of the remaining furniture to make my children feel comfortable in their new home. They went above and beyond what i expected, including late days where they installed , assembled and walked me through different options. They even helped me tow an old car of mine, and find movers to pick up old items from our matrimonial home. Yes, they even spoke and dealt with my ex a few times. They were timely and reasonable with their fees. Most of all, they were simply great to work with. With empathy and kindness, in just a few weeks, my house was shaping up. My kids met Don and Kyo a number of times and have asked me if "Don and Kyo" are coming back. Thanks Gents, you are both true professionals , and bring a wonderful human touch to your work. I’m delighted to recommend Zwada Home without reservation. We first called upon Don and Kyo for help with freshening up our home because it was feeling dated, plus we felt we could obtain better functionality out of a couple of rooms. Bit by bit, without any pressure and with lots of laughs and sensitivity on Zwada's part, we have made changes that rendered our home more beautiful, more liveable, and more ‘us’. Don & Kyo are fun to work with, and so easy. There’s never any pressure. They take the time to get to know you, to understand what you want, plus they have that extra sense that really good decorators have in sussing out what you need. They want their clients to get the most value for the dollar and are as price conscious as you want them to be, whether high, low, or in between. No judgement, just enthusiasm for making clients happy. They take the time to understand your style, and they have great taste! I look forward to bringing on Zwada for any and all further home design and decor decisions.

We recently had Don & Kyo worked on decorating our new home, and the experience was fantastic! ❤️❤️❤️ As a young couple with no design experience, we were unsure where to start, but Don & Kyo guided us effortlessly. They understood our style perfectly and delivered a stunning result that was well within our budget. Communication was smooth and prompt throughout the project, which made the process stress-free. The final design is both beautiful and functional, reflecting our tastes perfectly (& elevated my taste for sure). If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have used Don and Kyo as design consultants for both my home, and more recently, my dental office. I didn't want a cookie-cutter, sterile design typical of most dental offices but something with more of a cozy and comfortable feeling that was similar to home. I get repeat compliments from many of my patients saying how great my office "feels" and inquiries about who helped renovate my office. They are both amazing people to work with and they carry themselves with the utmost patience and professionalism. I would highly recommend Zwada Home as designers to anyone unsure of who to hire for their personal or professional projects. They are amazing to work with and give you amazing results!

We had an amazing experience working with Don and Kyo. Our project was to fully decorate and furnish a tiny pied-a-terre. The communication and collaboration all needed to be done remotely. Don and Kyo created a wonderful jewel box for us from a completely blank slate. From custom furniture, to lighting, to reimagining spaces, to adding shelving and built-ins they created a perfect space for us in a tiny footprint. They worked with the HOA when dealing with construction approval, as well as the building staff for move in and preparation. I highly recommend and am looking forward to working with them again on future projects.

Being Builder allowed me to work with many designers through out the years and Don and Kyo are the best ones I've worked with! One of my client hired them to work on their full gut renovation back in early 2020 and this is how we met. They are very organized and detail oriented and quick to response through email, texts and phone calls. They are always on time for site meetings and meeting various deadlines for ordering or renderings. Their drawings are very clear and easy to understand. Most importantly, Don and Kyo are willing to listen to sub-trade's suggestions and work with them and the owner to modify designs based on actual job site situations. Together we have completed a few projects in the short 2 years and both the owner and myself are happy to work with them on every one of them.
