“Orion Forge was referred to us by another metal fabricator we worked with on our custom home (Doug Wagner http://modernfab.com - wonderful as well) to fabricate a custom, hand-forged door handle for the front door. Our front door was a 5 foot pivot door that needed a nice piece of "jewelry" as a finishing touch. The door itself was very modern and we were looking for a rustic handle to complete the look. Hunter at Orion Forge handcrafted a true statement piece! Hunter met with me at our home to assess the project. After a quick tour to understand the rustic-modern style we hoped to achieve throughout the house, the two of us worked together, through quick sketches and measurements, to rough out an overall design and a forging pattern. Hunter was very receptive to my ideas and added his own expertise to our discussion. The final product was exactly the design and effect we had hoped to accomplish. The project was completed on-time and at a very reasonable price for a custom piece. We were so happy with the front door handle we also ordered some interior barn door handles with the same forged texture treatment. As the 5-star rating indicates, we would highly recommend Hunter at Orion Forge for artisan-quality, hand-forged metal work to accent your home.”
