“This is the first house we have built from scratch. Allen could not have been more professional, helpful, and above all patient. From day one till now, about 70% complete, Allen has been extremely easy to work with. While he doesn't spoon feed us, he will give his honest opinion if he thinks we might be making a mistake. He has been very easy to contact, gets back to us immediately, posts pictures of the progress (very handy for us since we live several hours away) and answers each and every question regardless of how moronic they may be. The quality of materials and the workmanship are both top notch. He has set and maintained a tight schedule while keeping us apprised the entire time. I would recommend Allen to anyone looking for a great building experience.”

“As a fifteen year owner of a real estate company, I have worked with many builders. Every time, I have experienced plusses with the builders. Negatives are rare. Most are pretty good. However, every now and then one comes along that sets the bar higher than most. Montana Build is one such company. Their attention to detail is superior. The finished product is always more than promised. I like that. Pricing is fair and accurate. Customers like that. For me, it's the way they do business that is even more impressive. It's like working with close friends. The owner, Paul McElroy, is a buyer's advocate of such repute, no one ever has to ask, "so where are we at?" McElroy and his staff are proactive from start to finish. Communications are A+. They make the experience comfortable. The buyer feels they are respected and their best interest is always paramount. “After viewing their model home during the parade of homes and liking the quality of that house, we decided to pursue having Finmark Construction build a new house for us. They were very good to work with in getting the design we wanted and a floor plan that would work for us. We had very few small problems arise during construction that were corrected immediately. They were very accommodating in making some slight changes as the construction progressed and we saw some things we wanted to alter. There was an excellent line of communication through all phases of design, layout and construction. We are very happy with the finished house and should we ever decide to build again, Finmark Construction would be our first choice. I really wanted to give them five stars for the overall project, but since we moved in it has been difficult to get the little things that need attention taken care of. I know they are in the middle of a very busy season and not the least bit upset about it.”

“Craig is a consummate craftsman, builder and professional. He swiftly reviewed our desired home structural design and worked collaboratively with my wife and me to incorporate our desired high end craftsman style exterior and interior of a recycled timber frame house. He worked closely with the time frame designer and provider and supervised his outstanding team of subcontractors with aplomb. We were not living near our home during the building process and he kept us well informed of when certain items or styles needed to be selected or when one of us needed to be present to ensure steady progress. His attention to detail, foresight and experience resulted in timely completion and polished results within forecasted estimates.”

“Shan is an exceptional craftsman and energy efficient builder. I was on a number of his jobs and his work was above and beyond the quality of anyone else in the area. I highly recommend Shan and would use his services if I was building. I was a supplier to Shan for a number of years of prefabricated building systems and materials. I visited most construction sites and Shan built some exceptional homes of complex design. Shan was always competent, very professional, detail oriented, and honest. “Working with the Bigfork Builders team is a great experience. There is always someone on the job to handle any questions that arise. Potential problems are handled well before there is a crisis. The owners receive a quality job with the utmost attention to detail. Our specific work involved 15 zones of radiant heat, heated by geothermal wells. We also provided the plumbing roughin and fixtures, picked by the owners.”

“Mark is a good communicator which makes building a house with him both positive and clear in what expectations are in place. He was very timely and seemed efficient in the manner in which he worked. I visited the site daily and saw change each and every day. Mark is precise and orderly in how he runs a building site. Visitors to our home always speak to the feeling of being in a home that is solidly built and we agree. Our house was built with green concepts and is a dream to live in. It holds in heat in the winter and stays cool in the summer. And, Mark was open to suggestions that emerged as we were building -- like sky lights which were not on the main plan and we just love the light that comes in from those two sources. He also has a nice personality, is a good family man and seems to get along with all who know him.”

“Denman Construction is just finishing building a house for myself and my 16 year old son. it has been the greatest, most humbling, and exciting time of our lives! I feel like a member of the family at Denman! These guys have treated me with nothing but the utmost respect from day one. The excellent quality of their workmanship is only exceeded by the incredible respect and integrity with which they treat their clients, employees, and subcontractors alike. Denman Contstruction is the kind of company everyone would want to have build their house,they are fully dedicated to your project, they listen,respect, and give 110%. I have never built a house before, but I would do it again with this company,and I would do it without ever having to go to the job site and I know it would be perfect. These guys take care of every detail, from the design on. They just totally rock! I am a single mom, with a right BKA (below the knee amputation) so I have a few special needs. I don't like to make a big deal about it,but the are a few special requirements that I have. Denman has taken that all into consideration and not even had to ask twice about things. They have been very polite and discreet, and super sweet about considering my special needs without every making me feel awkward, or uncomfortable, or even embarrassed. I am eternally grateful to be treated as an equal, a friend, and a person whose ideas and opinions matter. I cannot wait to move in to our new house!”
