She collaborated well with all the trades and made sure that all the fixtures were on time. We are very happy with the end result and feel that it was a good investment to use her expertise. “The Design Studio has helped me with a number of projects including having a sofa re-upholstered and selecting wallpaper for my dining room. They have also provided me with fabric and wallpaper samples to help me decorate the rest of my house. They are great to work with, have a vast knowledge of design, and are very professional. “I gutted and renovated a one bedroom condo that hadn't been touched since it was built in mid 80's. I got in touch with Lisa through the best contractor I have ever hired. Lisa worked with the contractor, the cabinet firm, myself and directly with my wife re: finishes. The project was on time and on budget. Lisa never panicked when things were adjusted, (shall we say) not as "on paper," or just didn't work. She really was a stabilizing force for all concerned. Regarding the real reasons I hired her....to make the place work better, bring it up to date and communicate her design to all concerned as I was away for large blocks of time, she did an excellent job. The place has a timeless air about it. The flow is exactly how she said it would be. I've seen other units in the building and this unit is the best I've seen. Would I work with her again? Damn right!”

“Laurel has been a godsend for us. She helped us decorate and style our Airbnb and saved us thousands of dollars while making it look fantastic! Our bookings increased dramatically after we hired her. For our personal home she has helped with wall colours, fireplace style, tile choice, carpet selection, living room furniture and more. Every time we have worked with Laurel I have felt a sense of peace, satisfaction and pride with the results. “I found Niina very professional. She clearly stated how the process worked , how the charges worked and there were no surprises. She was a good listener and delivered what was asked for - not her own. She was excellent making sugesstions and working with our thoughts and ideas. She included both myself and my husbands input which was appreciated. She stayed within our budget. She was very knowledgable in all decorating aspects - colour, fabric choices, room arrangement, flooring, furniture quality etc. I will hire her again. I recommend her. A nice sincere person.”
