My family and I can't say enough about Karri and her team... they are fantastic! We undertook a major basement renovation, including a huge play area for the kids, complete with ninja equipment, a rock wall, swings, etc. Karri designed the entire area, taking into account our kids' interests, our budget, and our preferences. She was also great with color schemes for the walls, stairs, and equipment. She also had a contractor she recommended for the project, who was also excellent, and together they were a team that was efficient and easy to work with. We highly recommend Karri for any playroom project!

Karri went above and beyond to create a playroom beyond our wildest imagination! She and her team worked countless hours to collaborate with me on exactly what we wanted. We would recommend Karri and her team ten times over!

Karri was INCREDIBLE in helping us design a sensory gym for our son. Our kids spend all their time downstairs now and are able to get all their energy out! So grateful for her knowledge and thoughtful approach.

Karri and her team are truly amazing, not only given the end result of the project (our basement is pure magic for the kids-- we haven't even unpacked more than a fraction of their toys and they simply do not need them-- there are so many stimulating and engaging elements from the playhouse to the climbing wall/foam pit for their imaginations to run wild!), but the way of working and client service. This was the one part of building and designing our new home that was a true pleasure from start to finish-- and now is an endless source of joy for our family (the crown jewel of our home is found in our basement as I have said!). I will be forever grateful for what you have given our 4 children!!

Smart Playrooms made us the basement of our dreams! Very courteous and detailed oriented staff. From basketball hoops to arts and crafts area to the lego wall or the monkey bars/ball pit...their creativity and execution was top notch. We highly recommend Smart Playrooms!

Karri was so amazing and easy to work with! It is so incredible how Karri’s ideas for our art room and playhouse came to life. She was so easy to work with and communicate with. She has a great team including Heleen and her carpenter Chris who worked so hard to make everything come together. Our kids play in both rooms so much that they don’t even ask for their iPad! We are so appreciative to Karri and her company because she really delves into a child’s playful mind and knows exactly what would make them happy. Our kids are only 2 and 4 but I know they will grow into these rooms and will last a lifetime. Thank you again Karri! You are amazing at what you do!!! So happy to have worked with you!!!

Smart Playrooms recently completed a spectacular playroom and art space for our two children, ages 6 & 8. Their creativity and ability to think outside of the box is truly inspiring. They transformed a dark and creepy storage space into a beautifully organized art room that my children adore. They also created an incredible play space (rock wall, monkey bars, punching bag, Lego wall, karaoke stage, and more) that challenges my kids physically and also aids in their creative play. The team is efficient, professional, lovely to work with, and passionate about what they do. Their love for their work shows in every detail from planning to execution. I love that they think about your children's interests and hobbies and incorporate them into all aspects of their work. There is no better feeling than having our kids off of their devices and spending time being active and creative. If you have the opportunity to use the team at Smart Playrooms, jump at it - we are so thrilled that we did!

We’ve had a fantastic experience with Smart Playrooms! Karri and her team helped us transform an empty basement into a dream playroom and activity space. The process was intuitive and simple. Karri brought in her vision, ideas and experience to help us imagine several different activity areas. She then developed a detailed design proposal, helped us purchase all the components and introduced us to a great team of contractors who built up the entire space in just a few weeks. Karri’s team then also helped us organize and decorate it. The final product exceeded our expectations. Our kids love their new tree house, arts and crafts area, climbing obstacle course and swings. The entire family enjoys coming together in our new space nearly every night playing a friendly game of basketball, foosball or ping pong. We've received a lot of compliments for our new basement space from all of our guests, adults and kids alike. We thank Karri and her entire Smart Playrooms team for a job well done!

Fabulous all around! Karri has a gift at understanding the developmental needs and play interests of kids of all ages. She designs fun spaces that encourages kids to get off their ipads and enjoy toys again. She thinks deeply about how to incorporate creative play, fine motor play, and active play into one well designed, beautiful space.

Kari and her team exceeded our expectations! They did a fantastic job renovating our little playroom -- it feels like a completely transformed space! We enjoyed working with this team from start to finish -- they were always super responsive and took the time to make sure every detail suited our needs. I would highly recommend working with Kari's suggested contractor if you need any construction to be done -- Reinaldo was prompt, courteous and clean, and he made sure to run decisions by me throughout the project. This is a wonderful team and we could not recommend them highly enough!

Our experience with Smart Playrooms exceeded our very high expectations. From the beginning, working with Karri was such an incredible experience. She is kind, thoughtful, creative, detail-oriented yet easy-going, and just has the most amazing vision and talent when it comes to creating custom spaces that foster children's happiness and development!
